From what I understand you get your credit together. Then instead of going out and getting a loan and your personal name. Open an LLC. Make sure everything is structured correctly. Then use your LLC to get business funding. Use your personal credit as a personal guarantee essentially co-signing for your business

I had things on my criminal record that I was never convicted of yet they were there. How embarrassing? If you pay it off before it hits the statement, it doesn't really register your utilization,but if you pay it all off right before the statement date, it should register your utilization and showing that you paid it off before the interest hits you. I've gotten 2 credit increases from capital one in about 8 months

I am a paralegal and there are legal regulations and consumer credit repair laws that every consumer is entitled to. Everyone on here need to go to the Federal Trade Commission office, the FDCPA, CFPB, and lexis nexus and READ everything there is to know regarding consumer laws. There are laws that protect consumers from collectors putting collections on your credit report. Collection companies must send you a debt validation letter before they put any collections on your credit report. If they do not do that then they are required to remove the collection from your report. Most people do not know this but it's the law.

I needed an agency that will help me remove an utility bill. I requested natural gas service but never used the service and then got socked with a $1000 bill. Their argument was that I had access. The didn't shut the account off but let it run on a year. In any other case, my phone, or electric, or cable bill would have been disconnected. I have tried talking to consumer advocates but no success. To me this is criminal. I see it as if I didn't use my Visa I would not be getting charged for a credit line I didn't use. With the passage of time of me not using that card, the card would be cancelled. That's it and that's all. How People's Gas Company is charging me for service not used makes no sense to me. I drove my first car in my dad's name and later went to get a truck in mine after I paid off my first one and drove off the lot with the truck I wanted, its mostly about a good credit score and a loan portfolio helps as well...lenders like to see various forms of loans in your name to be less of a risk and yes you might have to put money down but not HALF of the car loan Your exactly right I screwed my credit as a young man now I own a detailing company and can't get anything with out the full amount of cash. I knew of a farm that made a good deal of money selling hay to middle eastern countries to feed their animals. I think it's bc they can't grow it there or something like that.
