Both MDB and Paradise Lost come from within 10 miles of each other (and me!) and are peers in the same Gothic metal scene. This sounds like classic MDB and also like early PL (Gothic and Icon). All great guys as well. Welcome back Aaron and Andy; love the Jo Quail appearance as well.
I've loved this band since I first heard "As the flower withers" in 1992, although they have put out a couple of mediocre albums but I must say this sounds extremely promising indeed, It's a return of the sound that I fell in love with in the first place back in 1992..

If you want something of a somewhat similar style that will penetrate your soul and leave you emtionally spent, then you NEED to react to Primordial - The Coffin Ships. Arguably one of the greatest tracks I have heard from any of the metal sub-genres. Trust me on this one. I rarely comment on youtube and never spam reaction requests. I just know you guys will love it.

Originally both PL and MDB had members from both Halifax and Bradford. Halifax is roughly 7.5 miles away from Bradford.
