    This is for anyone who didn't know already. if you're planning on using this on an OLED Screen dont bother once an OLED Screen has burned in it won't come out because of the way the display works. This works for LCD and LED displays becuase there's a full backlight providing the brightness to the entire screen and then the individual RGB pixels open and close to let the proper amount of colour through the screen whereas an OLED or AMOLED Screen the light comes from the seperate diodes (so each individual pixel is it's own light source) and when you get burn in on that type of display it's like comparing a new light bulb against an old one the older one won't be as bright. Anyway I hope that sort of explains why you can't reverse burn in for an OLED Screen :)

      It could work. Take a 10 year old and a 20 year old person. The difference is huge, buh when they are 70 and 80, you can barely tell them apart.
      Running this video on max brightness will sort of make the whole screen worn, reducing the differences between the burn-in and the rest.

      @@stargazer8718 yeah and then the entire screen will lose quality to reduse the burn in effect

      @@WoopyLoops Wrong! You’re narrowing the term “broken" to mean only that narrow definition of what you think it means as in "irreparably broken" and you’re confusing that everyone calls "broken pixels" with DEAD pixels or (Dark Dot defects). Go look at the definition of “Broken" in Merriam-Webster’s dictionary. Broken, as in not working anymore does not have to mean broken beyond repair or vaporized permanently by a laser, or shattering into pieces but simply not functioning anymore. Just like a broken down car on the side of the road could be fixed, if the reason it was broken down is the battery cable fell off. I do a bunch of SMD reflow work with a digital microscope and have fixed many of what you claim can’t be fixed but I’ve also done it without tearing it apart.
      He was referencing broken or stuck LCD pixels as in "substates" (phases) nematic and smectic“atoms packed in a neat, regular arrangement called a crystal (or crystalline lattice) that need to be brought back in a flowable state.
      Even some black pixels as in the (Dark Dot defect) can be brought back to life. Why? A dark dot defect is “usually" caused by a transistor in the transparent electrode layer that is stuck "on" for TN panels or "off" for IPS, MVA, and PVA panels. I say “usually" as a stuck transistor does not mean it’s burned out. There are times when the layers have lost contact. Sometimes heat, pressure, light, laser bombardment or even a degaussing coil has brought back into contact what was “assumed" as a bad transistor in an LCD panel.
      What you’re doing is being a semantic simpleton and the OP didn’t have room in the title to break down the three main subtypes of ISO 13406-2 defects.
      Type 1 = a hot pixel (always on, being colour white)
      Type 2 = a dead pixel (always off, usually meaning black but can be white in some types of panels)
      Type 3 = a stuck pixel (one or more sub-pixels (red, blue or green) are always on or always off)

    • @NyanRushia
      @NyanRushia 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      if you have black circle on the oled/led panel they are dead pixals you can fix them pus the phone flicking mean the screen is dying. the scre will do one of to things fully flicker off or the black spot will spread. best thing to do is make sure things are backed up and get a replacement (which cost to much) or buy a new phone

      It depends on the cause of the issue. Everyone in this comment section is discussing this like it's one single issue with a single cause. But there can be various causes that lead to the same basic "burn-in" issue.
      At its core, it can balance the wear rate of the pixels, and it can 'even out' the brightness/contrast/vibrance for all pixels. It may not be able to fix a burn-in, but it might improve it, and it's a good thing to refer to if you take it in to a repair shop.
