Question: shouldn’t the chaos orb destroy the kird+plateau+savannah? And why the guy that flipped it targeted the mine? I always thought it wasn’t a targeted ability

The Old School format uses a different ruling on Chaos Orb that reads "Choose a nontoken permanent on the battlefield. If Chaos Orb is on the battlefield, flip Chaos Orb onto the battlefield from a height of at least one foot. If Chaos Orb turns over completely at least 360 degrees during the flip, and lands resting on the chosen permanent, destroy that permanent. Then destroy Chaos Orb." Ruling like this allows the Orb to still be playable for the flavor of Old School without it being busted or forcing players to spread permanents in weird ways on the board.
