I do have questions, I would like to add my own art image my shirts shirts. But I do not see a tutorial on how to do this in silhouette studio or circuit design space . Can some add their own image in either software to produce a rhinestone t shirt? Please perform a tutorial creating a rhinestone shirt from art created by an individual. Thanks Brian

I appreciate you sharing this. I have a Silhouette Cameo and use Silhouette Studio. You show great detail in your instructions that I can’t wait to give rhinestone design a try. I have had several ideas but was unsure how to get started. So, thank you again for your great instructions.
Just came across your channel. I love the detailed explanations you provided. I’m a newbie at this and your tutorial was very well done and gives me a lot of confidence.
I followed your tutorial and was able to make an ombre t shirt. I never thought that I would be able to do it. It took me a couple of days to get all of the rhinestones situated where I liked the placement and got everything done correctly. I had to restart a few times because of errors that I made but finally got it done. I wish that you could see it because it came out quite nicely. I used the text UCLA BRUINS with a large football cut out in the middle. Thanks again.

Beautiful. Thank you. That was so complicated but you explained it very well and I will have no trouble following your steps. I completely understood what you were doing and where you were going. I don't think that I'd ever be able to make my own pattern and template but I will be able to put my own wording and phrase together with your tutorial. I am hoping at some point Cricut will have a rhinestone pallet maker in design space because they make things easier than the silhouette studio software. About 12 years ago I bought a cameo and eventually replaced it after 4 years for the cameo 3 and the business edition software. I bought them specifically for the rhinestone feature and I made make be 3 rhinestone t-shirts in an 8 year period, not much. I have done a multi color rhinestone template but I bought it ready made from The Rhinestone World about 8 years ago.
This video is perfect!!! You have explained everything step by step without being so long winded as I’ve seen in prior videos. I lose interest when it’s like that and skip the video. I love how your design came out! I have one question though…why did you move your design to Cricut space? I don’t have that so I’m wondering if this process can be done solely on Silhouette Business?
I do not have a cameo cutter so I have to cut my design with my Cricut cutter. If you have a cameo cutter once you finish with the design you can cut the svg as normal. Thank you for watching!

I do not have a cameo cutting machine. If you are using the cameo cutting machine you do not have to save as an svg. You can just send to cut. I hope that helps. Thank you for watching!
You’re welcome! The clear paper is actually transfer tape. The transfer tape is used to transfer the stones from the flock to the garment. I used the brush to help make the stones stick to the transfer tape. Here is a link to a video with full description. Hello Coretta, this is by far the best rhinestone tutorial I have seen! I absolutely love it and the clear explanation of every step. However, I have watched this video over a dozen times and I have written down the steps. Clearly I'm missing something (LOL). So, when I grouped my black rhinestones by color my background was red and the rhinestones disappeared. Where did I go wrong in the process? TIA

You can not create rhinestone templates like this in Cricut Design Space. You can cut a rhinestone template like this with Cricut. Thank you for watching!
I have trouble getting layered rhinestones to line up/lay properly. I almost always have a few overlapping or clearly out of position. I've found repositioning the transfer tape sometimes makes some stones fall off or flip over. Suggestions for avoiding that?
I usually pull the shirt a little to move the stones on the shirt out the way. When repositioning the transfer tape make sure not to slide it. This causes the stones to move or fall off. Thank you for watching!
This was an excellent tutorial!! I wanted to learn how to make my own design and size was issue, but not anymore! I have 2 questions if you would please… Do I have to make layers if I’m going to cut the template using my Silhouette? Also, is there a reason you used the radial fill as opposed to the other fill (the one that is square)
I don’t own a cameo so I’m not sure. The layers are important for creating SVGs. The full is a preference. I like the look of the radial fill. Thank you for watching!
I do not have a cameo cutter so this may not be the most efficient way. I would add each layer to the mat and cut as normal. I hope this helps. Thank you for watching!
You are amazing! Thank you for showing us. I made 3 shirts and they turned out beautiful- but right now I am having a few issues with my new shirt. Did you happen to experience any of these? - When transferring my design to design space, it's loading to be about .14inch by .14 inch, even though I save it at 5 inches. I resize it, but I wonder if this is causing errors for my circle shape (The last problem). Has this happened to you? - When going to cut the design, the rhinestones release and it's just a page of circles.. no design. Do you weld the image together? - My Cricut isn't cutting the circles accurately. The first few look good, then the rest of the design they are lopsided or not finished, so the rhinestones won't fall in. I tried recalibrating, a new blade, everything! Any suggestions?
Yes, sometimes the design does not come into Cricut the same size so you have to resize to the correct size. I don’t the size has anything to do with the holes cutting oval. This may be an issue with your machine. Check you blade to make sure it is clean. Also, sometimes all the circle will not cut. This can be due to the age of your blade. When creating rhinestone designs I use silhouette Studio. I always make the layers a compound path. The will make the circle one layer and not a bunch of circles when brought into Cricut. But if they come into Cricut as a bunch of circles you can weld them. I hope this helps. Thank you for watching!
just wondering what your line style settings are if you could tell me, because In the second icon where you click no lines I don't have the little square with the grid lines in it. Can you tell me what I can do to get little box i have a clear white box, that's it.
Gm awesome tutorial. I am in the process now trying to create one. I am having issues once I release the stones to fill in the gaps. When I copy and paste they go every where else but the space I need it to go.😂 Since I'm not really familiar with Silhouette, I'm not sure on how to get them closer to the area needed. Do you have any recommendations?
Hi Freda! Thank you so much for watching. When you copy and paste the rhinestones do not fill the gap. They have been known to be further away from where you need them. You will have to place them where you need them.
@@mzdrew you can purchase at Swing Design. No, it doesn’t work with Cricut. However, you can create and save designs (SVGs) to upload and cut with Cricut.
@@CorettaDangerfielda lot of this stuff is new to me and I’m trying to teach myself. So some of these programs confuse me. So you made the design with silhouette and cut it Cricut? But silhouette software doesn’t work with Cricut. I’m trying to make sure I buy the right stuff because it can be so pricey

Hello, I pray that you are feeling well. I have looked at your videos several times. When you do your offset, you hit the 2nd icon and then hit NONE. Where does it say none? Thank you.
I am getting better every day. Thank you for asking. I offset before I turn it rhinestones. I select none to remove the red line color. I am using silhouette business edition 4.5 so yours may be different. None is a white box with a grey strike through or X. Thank you for watching!

So, when I grouped my black rhinestones by color my background was red and the rhinestones disappeared. Where did I go wrong in the process? TIA

I have trouble getting layered rhinestones to line up/lay properly. I almost always have a few overlapping or clearly out of position. I've found repositioning the transfer tape sometimes makes some stones fall off or flip over. Suggestions for avoiding that?
I usually pull the shirt a little to move the stones on the shirt out the way. When repositioning the transfer tape make sure not to slide it. This causes the stones to move or fall off. Thank you for watching!
This was an excellent tutorial!! I wanted to learn how to make my own design and size was issue, but not anymore! I have 2 questions if you would please… Do I have to make layers if I’m going to cut the template using my Silhouette? Also, is there a reason you used the radial fill as opposed to the other fill (the one that is square)
I don’t own a cameo so I’m not sure. The layers are important for creating SVGs. The full is a preference. I like the look of the radial fill. Thank you for watching!

You are amazing! Thank you for showing us. I made 3 shirts and they turned out beautiful- but right now I am having a few issues with my new shirt. Did you happen to experience any of these?
- When transferring my design to design space, it's loading to be about .14inch by .14 inch, even though I save it at 5 inches. I resize it, but I wonder if this is causing errors for my circle shape (The last problem). Has this happened to you?
- When going to cut the design, the rhinestones release and it's just a page of circles.. no design. Do you weld the image together?
- My Cricut isn't cutting the circles accurately. The first few look good, then the rest of the design they are lopsided or not finished, so the rhinestones won't fall in. I tried recalibrating, a new blade, everything! Any suggestions?
Yes, sometimes the design does not come into Cricut the same size so you have to resize to the correct size. I don’t the size has anything to do with the holes cutting oval. This may be an issue with your machine. Check you blade to make sure it is clean. Also, sometimes all the circle will not cut. This can be due to the age of your blade. When creating rhinestone designs I use silhouette Studio. I always make the layers a compound path. The will make the circle one layer and not a bunch of circles when brought into Cricut. But if they come into Cricut as a bunch of circles you can weld them. I hope this helps. Thank you for watching!

Gm awesome tutorial. I am in the process now trying to create one. I am having issues once I release the stones to fill in the gaps. When I copy and paste they go every where else but the space I need it to go.😂 Since I'm not really familiar with Silhouette, I'm not sure on how to get them closer to the area needed. Do you have any recommendations?
Hi Freda! Thank you so much for watching. When you copy and paste the rhinestones do not fill the gap. They have been known to be further away from where you need them. You will have to place them where you need them.
