Yes, definitely dive into more DPR Ian. His name is Christian Yu and he's from Australia. He used to be in a K-pop group called C-Clown in the early 2010's. They disbanded in 2015 and he went and co-created DPR and went behind the camera and started doing the creative visuals/directing for the whole DPR crew and other artists. He's only been back to making music for about 3 years. All the visuals you see in his MVs are from his mind. He's amazingly creative and very open about his struggle with mental health which you see portrayed in his MVs

I am so happy y’all are checking him out. He directed and edited most of this himself. He has bipolar disorder so he personifies his experiences and other side Mito through videos and song. The other videos were the pieces of paper he rubbed his hands over in the beginning of the video!

A lot of his music comes from his struggle with mental health and bipolar disorders. MITO is a personification of that change in mood. Christian (dpr ian) almost exclusively writes when he is in a manic stage of his Bipolar depression. He is brilliant because he also produces and directs his mvs and dpr Ian’s as well! He said when he starts to "dip" it feels like he loses an eye, he can't fully see things (figuratively) the way they are. This compilation is him showing what his world is like when things come crashing down around him. MITO the guy in all black(also Christian) is how he has described his depression. Definitely worth checking out more of him and dpr live in the near future 🫶🏼

Christian creates art, I think he once said that DPR creates money to make art. He has a very complex and at times chaotic mind that he puts into visuals that we as fans appreciate, marvel, and enjoy. His music is a whole story arc with Mito (his other half essentially - is how he describes his manic/bipolar episodes). DPR Live is also worth a listen to as well, Christian has directed/done the visuals on some of his MVs as well.

He expose the bipolar disorder in all of this music and concept, he have a bless and curse at the same time because he do this things but at the same time he really have a very bad times even up to now, but he use this as a therapy I hope he can progress and maybe if here is a lonely o maybe whit the same disorder you’re not alone ❤
