Finally a commercial that uses music right, and makes sense in the commercial, and doesn’t re-use the same music clips every other one does. My dad used to work in advertisement, and the art of commercials has rlly gone down the past decades

Heard the Levi commercial today and recognized Cliff's voice. Remember hearing his first single(1958)..."Schoolboy Crush",I much preferred the B-side track...the classic"Move it"

Ah cliff and the shadows brilliant ! He lost the plot when he went solo in the 1980s like pat Boone he fell on his face!!!!! Lol
When he started his bible hugging phase in the late 60s, he lost me then 🤷♂️. This is classic Cliff though, and absolutely superb!
Cliff lost a bit of cred when he started to dress 70s style in the ABBA mode and started to dance funny on stage. Elvis, well, he too lost some cred when he continued to wear those silly jumpsuits and sporting long hair and sideburns from 1969 to the day he passed away. The music output from their 70s era wasn't all that.
Having said that, these two acts are far , far ahead of the trash we are offered by record companies today.
