Might be the best figure in the line so far. And I really enjoy this line.
And this is the best He-Man figure we have ever received.
I don't really love this figure to be honest, do you find He-Man's face is a bit off?
MotU is my favorite IP. I couldn’t agree more with you. It’s by far the best He-Man figure by far imo. The buck is incredible, great super articulated and vintage head sculpt in a 7” figure is much better than I expected. The Power Sword is the best Power Sword ever made, both aesthetically and length of it. This is the first ever Spot review I disagree with him on. One would expect to have many differences to one’s favorite influencer/reviewer. I guess 1 disagreement out of all the figs I watched him review isn’t bad at all. Because let’s face it Spot is by far the best their is on YT. As I said many times on his videos one word describes Spot…unparalleled.

I know we got a more classic looking Skeletor that was a 2 pack SDCC exclusive I believe and they had metal weapons to them, but they were way too expensive for me, right now I'm just using the New Eternia Skeletor as my Classic looking Skull head

This He-Man figure is awesome, keeping the original 1982 like features with the most recent articulated body. Awesome! I am lucky I got it few weeks ago. My previous He-Man I had was the original back in the 1980’s when I was a kid and I’m still fascinated with this.

I live in Mexico and this figure is a blessing Classics was always hard to get and super seven extremely pricey, it isn't the perfect he man but I'm extremely happy with it
Just so you know, he has a hinge on one of his hands specifically so he can hold the sword aloft properly.

3:26 take the hand off and attach it to the handle, then reattach it. And the shield and axe are very OG toy inspired. The Sword of Power is stylized, but it is vintage inspired. And the vintage toy has a left gauntlet and a right bracer.
it does yes, with the brace not being painted its not as noticeable on the original, and then the Origins went the approach of giving him bracelets on both sides I prefer the dual bracelets myself

Spot The vintage figure didn’t have a bracelet he in fact did have a gauntlet but because it was painted the same as his body it’s hard to distinguish. If you have a vintage He-Man take a look at his left wrist.
I wish I had Vintage He-Man figures, I got rid of those when I was really young and totally regret it now :(

Funny you don't like this he-man..he is the best figure we got so far! It's the closest thing they could come up with to a modernized vintage he man!And the only one that can hold the power sword right!!! You're right about the different skin tone head though...Great review as always!!

I think it’s by far the best He-Man figure we ever got imho I purchased 3 of them haha the buck is simply the best of the best. I so surprised at this review. My favorite IP and my favorite reviewer. I’m saddened how disappointed you are by this figure. You are despite this review the very best on YT!
How do you compare the Masterverse from the Classic? Classics are fetching at such a high price by now.
@@anbernicguy while most people agree that Classics are by in large unparalleled and for the most part I agree with that but there are figures that simply blow away Classics in every way, like Two-Bad, Fisto, Man-At-Arms, Man-E-Faces, Hordak and She-Ra I mean I could go on and on. The articulation on Masterverse is far superior in every way from pin-less joints, super articulated, anatomically correct heads although people think Masterverse has small heads vs my opinion being Classics are overly large. In the end it’s hard to compare them on deco simply because Masterverse are mass manufactured figures while Classics were made to order subscription based where with Classics they can add more details and color deco for a higher price.

Wow. You really did not like this figure. Crazy because I love it. To each their own, I guess.
I just find that between the head and the rest of the body its connected to, it feels like two different figures, the head for me seems off or out of place with He-Man's body, I don't know maybe its the mismatching of tan colours that prevents him from looking consistent?

A candid, first-rate review of 40th anniv He-Man and his accessories!
I don't really agree with the poster of this video since I think that this figure has by far the best modern face representation of He-man, hands down, even considering the Origins and the Classics figures. I don't see that much difference in the tan, or, anyway it doesn't bother me at all. The only thing I really don't like in this figure is the way the double joints in elbows and knees are made, that disrupt too much the continuity of the body lines. But the video is cool anyway. Very good work, very well detailed and explained.
I think the New Eternia ones (Vinking as well as Battle Armor) look better in general and also have better head sculpts.

Exactly my thoughts! Why the fu*^k Mattel can't do a proper head sculpt of He-Man! There are so many different variation of him in the Origins and Masterverse line and not even one is decent! I don't even understand why so many people like the new "vintage" head on the Origins, he looks like some Asian dude with dyed hair!😆

I also don't understand why they just can't get a good He Man head on the masterverse line?? on the Classics line every head was great, why can't they do that anymore? LOL
yeah it seems like He-Man is cursed when it comes to anything taller than the Origins figures, he just can't seem to get a good headsculpt. I think the upcoming one we are getting from Mondo though looks really good have you seen that one yet?
@@TheReviewSpot Yes, of course, I have already seen the figure, looks absolutely fantastic but I think he exceeds a bit my budget. Here in Europe, the Mondo figures are also unfortunately a bit more expensive than in the States. I'm still thinking about it ;-)
