It is difficult for me to give recommendation, because i am little bit biased towards ar15 platform which serve me well over years. But if you are fan of p90 then it might be great replica for start-it is light, it shoots 40 - 50m what is enough for beginning, only difficulty may be carrying the spare mags which are long, but if you like it i think this may be good for start, do not forget to clean barrel from time to time, it has effect on accuracy
it heavily depends on Your game style. I am spending very little of BBs compared to my team mates, for example I am spending 400-600 BBs during 4 hours long gameplay with AEG, I am trying to shoot when there is chance of hit, but somebody can spend 1000-2000 BBs for that time period. But I can say that when You can shoot without thinking it is more fun and thinking about bbs in mag can make Your game frustrating. You can manage to play with 1 mag in the gun and eventualy refill during game with BB loader, but it will be extremly difficult. I recommend to carry at least 3pcs of P90 spare mags, each of them will take around 65-68 BBs. I carry 3 spare mags for my M4 each with capacity of 130 BBs... Between hits I usualy spend one or two mags.
@@airsoftfantom do you think i should rather get an m4 because the mags are cheaper ans less spacific. I also dont realy understand betterys do you know a video that can help with that? Would you say the firehawk is a good begginer gun for outdoors?
it totaly depends on Your preferences. If You like P90 it will be great airsoft replica for beginning and You can also manage the situation with mags. But You are right M4 mags are take less space and are cheaper and there are plenty of them. For me the choice was AR15 platform, because there are so many parts, accessories and gadgets for it. I am sorry I have never tested Firehawk, I have just seen it on e-shops and I am afraid it is little bit under powered for outdoors, so You would lack range. Battery - it the airsoft replica is stock and does not have mosfet or ETU(electronic trigger unit) or some processor unit then You should go to NiMH batteries - there is lower chance that You will burn anything. If You have high spec replica or it is equiped with mosfet/etu/processor unit then the best choice is 11,1V Lipo. But 11,1V Lipo can fry something in You electrical circuit of replica if it was not LIPO ready what You do not know until You try... P90 has 9,6V Nimh battery in package and it is enough for one game. if i can recommend anything - with replica buy also proper smart charger - it is safe and batteries will last, with chargers which are included in package Your batteries will die soon and there is also risk of burning them...

@@airsoftfantom do you think ill have to carry spare mags? Im not too sure but how many BBs do you normaly shoot in a 20 minute game?
