This company needs more love from consumers. They were all the rage with TH-cam style gurus till 2 years back. Good to see them make a comeback with no less than stridewise.
I've had a pair in Bordeaux for a couple years now and they're really quite great. Comfy, stylish, and great value since you can often get discounts to get them a decent bit under $200.
I have a few of these boots and I love them. I'm currently waiting for the black jodphur boots. As for sizing I say it's true to size based off of the brand shoes I tend to wear. In converse and vans I'm a size 10 so I ordered size 10 and they are perfect. In Nike I'm a size 10.5. So if you wear Nike and have skinny Nike feet then most likely you will need to order a half size down.

I measure exactly 10 on those metal tray foot measuring things in the shoe store. For myself I went with size 10 because the Beckett Simonon boots leave room for your toes. So basically I'd say get the 10.5 boot size for yourself.
I hope that you will give us an update on how they hold up to a New York winter. While I don't know that I would purposely wear them when I know the weather is going to be bad, we all have those days when we go into work and the sky is blue, when we come out, well let's just say the weather can be a nightmare. I really like the look of these boots and I think you did a great job reviewing them. Only complaint I have is you didn't state your size and what size you went down to and is this common is Beckett Simonon. Thanks for the review!
After a 6 month wait I received my Jodhpur boots today. And yes they were worth the wait and surprising comfortable as I am usually hard to fit. They are beautifully made. Thanks for your review.
love their shoes, own a pair of one of their oxfords. I wish they would consider incorporating more soles w/ rubber, as i prefer that to leather bottoms. Otherwise, they feel/look pretty high quality.

I got the Elliot Balmorals in black It was like Christmas morning when I got them, and a handwritten letter from the representative, packaging, boots bags. 10/10
@@Stridewise low labor costs and they only make what's been ordered. So essentially zero inventory. They use.... 3 lasts. An oxford last, a derby shoe last, and a boot last. Same construction method on everything. So their operation is pretty streamlined.
Well balanced, nearly perfect review. I have two pairs of BS shoes, whole cuts and chukkas. I have a pair of Jodphurs on order. I'm a 9 1/2 D, and they fit perfectly. Try to find a decent pair of whole cuts for anywhere near BS quality at their price. Yeah, they take forever to get, but you know that going in. If you can't wait, then you have lots of other choices.
The buckles are, in fact, cheap. I recently replaced the buckles on my Thursday Jodhpur boots and got this exact buckle for $2 a piece, shipping included.
Major cons. with this shoe: Is a thin cut of leather Blake stitched. Priced higher for what it is Pros: Word Italian attached to the materials Stitchings and design is flawless. There are many other lesser known manufacturers offering better material and craftsmanship at similar price points.
You can criticize the leather thinness if you like (although it's pretty par for the course for a dressy boot) but it absolutely is not priced higher for what it is
@@Stridewise yes they gave me those weekly updates about how the process was going but it got old after about two months. Then it was constant excuses on why the process was getting delayed. They eventually refunded me what I paid.

(This is only my personal opinion, and I do not mean to attack anyone. Just purely expressing how i feel about these boots.) I think the buckle really makes the boots look kinda feminine, and the shine of the leather makes whoever wears those boots look so into themselves. But of course we all have different tastes. I do have to say these boots look like they cost more than just $200.

I went with the Easton side zip instead of these. Same last but I like the look of the zipper more than the buckle. I absolutely love them.

Yeah I'm coming around on Jodhpurs, especially because I have unusually skinny ankles so chelseas often don't secure themselves as well as they should

How would you compare these boots to something like the Thursday Boots Chelsea Collection?
