I live in Bournemouth and I enjoy going to Swanage via Corfe Castle, its a nice route and Swanage itself has a nice charm about it. Still worth a visit IMHO.
I went on holiday two years later in 1979 to Bournemouth, and remember going one day to Swanage on a Hants and Dorset Bristol RE bus on the ferry from Sandbanks. Hasn't changed much.
1977 , the year I qualified as an SRN (became RGN in the 1980`s). Little did I know then I would arrive in Swanage in 1982 as the District Nurse for Swanage and Corfe Castle based at the then newly built Swanage Medical Centre. Worked in the Purbecks for the next 31 years......... Gurt Great Memories You....... Denny, Veronica, Anne and Kathy....
Spent summer holidays in swanage from 77 84, my parents had a caravan on caldron barn farm, brilliant times had some good mates In swanage, what would I give for time travel

Not changed all that much even today
All the pets and pensioners in the film are dead.
