Mavs are top 10 in pace this year largely because Luka is making an effort to push it more. That’s partly on him for not doing it before but also on roster construction, this year they can push it much better! Playing slow is an outdated argument just like saying his defense is bad. Wouldn’t expect anything less from Stephen A. though

Luca and Lebron ain't the same at all. Bad Comparison. He's a better shooter at all ranges. His drives to the basket aren't just power but finesse more like a big Curry. He's an NBA athlete so trust it he's a athletic specimen in a different way than Lebron. His Passing is the only thing similar to Lebron and that's it.

I think there needs to be a distinction between player fear based coaches fear. As a coach, I think prepping for the Joker is probably a nightmare, but he isn’t an physical dominating presence like a Shaq on the court, so as a player I don’t think you fear playing him… you just simply get outplayed. When players like Shaq/Jordan/Kobe/Prime Lebron…. They will punish you physically on the court….and I think that scares players more.

I would agree with Windy in this. It’s Jokic. His height does it for me over Luka. SAS talks about how a lot’s contingent on Murray but you could say the same for steph with Klay. Without Murray, Jokic at least made the playoffs, but you can’t say the same for Steph without Klay. It’s Jokic, Luka, then Steph right now and Jokic takes it for me just cause of his height advantage.
