NY Yankees & Dream Kid Christian

Christian is 18 years old and is a senior at Northwest Cabarrus High School in Concord, NC. His school has been selected to partner with us for the Junior Dream Team program in the 2016-2017 school year. A team of students will plan a Dream Experience for Christian, who was selected by his fellow classmates.
Christian lives with cerebral palsy, which affects body movement, muscle control, muscle coordination, muscle control, reflex, posture, and balance. Although Christian cannot walk, he makes his grand slam entrance into a room with his power chair.
Christian’s sports dream is to “see the Yankees play at Yankee Stadium.” In addition to seeing the Yankees, he is also very excited about flying in an airplane for the very first time!

I believe that dreams do come true. I am very happy to tell everyone who has supported Christian that he should always be grateful for his gifts and passion as I gave him his biggest gift at all, I'm his father who stepped up and done what any GOD fearing man should do, against every moral and ethical reason I should not in the eyes of many others who did not except me nor my way of life as a fallen Christian. That's GODS plan I was just able to be a part of seeing it become a dream kid 18 years later. He has a beautiful family in his mom and step dad and little sister no doubt. He also has a dad that supported him under many self inflicted short comings and that loves him very much and a little brother that I have raised. Who is a absolute stud in the little league baseball age group and just possible would be his next helicopter ride to a brother in the bigs that he refuses to call and has after many attempts refused our calls and dreams to show him that we care he is family.
