The family would swim upstream using the eddys on the far bank. The mother would lead, followed by four babies a five yard gap then the injured baby followed by the Dad. Yeah I am humanizing them. I feed the deer as well. One doe always has twins. She and two other does eat corn and applesin my back yard, they are heavy with babies. My little piece of Heaven on earth.
