This is a song for death and rebirth. Hertan and Lyfjaberg always make me cry my eyes out. I saw them in their last one here in Athens under the Acropolis and it's a memory I'll cherish until I die. I cried from start to finish it was that moving to me. I hope they come back soon because I wanna go again and this time along with my son who's become also a fan.
When I listen to Warduna, I really feel like I understand the universe. My goal in life is to see Wardruna in concert; Einar and the music he creates with his team really changed the course of my internal landscape.

Wardruna will be touring in the UK in March, 2025: 17th in Liverpool, 18th in Birmingham, 19th in London, 21st in Bristol, 22nd in York, 25th in Glasgow, and one date in Ireland in Dublin the 23rd. Speaking of Einar's voice, I highly recommend checking out a video titled: Matoma tolker It sat duolmma mu av Mari Boine. It's from a Norwegian tv show, where several artist meet up in a tv studio, and perform versions of eachothers songs for eachother. Each program focusing on one of the artist for that program and the others each perform a song of that specific artist each. Anyway. For the program where it was Mari Boine's music being played. The Artist Matoma choose to have Einar sing the vocals on the song. And it's a marvellous Rendition of Mari Boine's song. She's a Sámi artist, and her music has strong Sámi cultural ties.
Awesome, they're only doing one date in the USA, which my husband and I will be attending.
@@TauriReacts Ah sorry didn't realise you were US based. Serves me right for assuming. :) But damn that's lucky I see Chelsea Wolfe, is going to be a special guest for that one, and she's amazing.
@@olavrell You're good, I am British, however my husband is American and so that's why I'm over here. I don't really know much about Chelsea Wolfe, I'll have to check out some of her stuff.
@@TauriReacts Her music is very different from Wardruna, mixing elements of Country, rock, goth rock, electronic elements and metal, into something of her own. It sort of varies from album to album.

@@TauriReacts nice. just remember to dress appropriately, ie beware that it is a desert climate. Daytime will be warm, but the temps drop pretty fast after sundown. Also, wear hiking shoes. Its a hike from the lot to the venue.

i know wardruna for a while now, but wasn't really that much into them. until i have seen the symphonic viking voyage with einar selvik, eivor and the danish symphonic orchestra and it clicked! this new song is really awesome, it drags you in and unleashes the inner viking. must be awesome to hear this live, indeed!

Jesus my Lord! Beautiful shamanic melody! Rhythmic beats! Angelic voices, both the main vocal and the background vocals, as if there were a choir of angels there! Reconnection with the heart of Gaia, (Earth), reconnection with the elementals of fire, Earth, water and air, reconnection with our ancestors, with our true ancestors, with our shamans, with our guardians, with our mentors , helpers and guides! As the chant increases in tone, it surrounds us with a wave of vibration that soothes our soul that has been waiting so long for the return, soothes our senses sharpened by the delay, and relaxes our true body, of light! Where does this longing come from for someone you saw, recognized by their look, by their smile, but can't explain! And the beats continue! Thought goes far, trying to look for answers! Do you want to transport yourself to a place we don't know where it is? But you want to go and stay! Want to go to the meeting! Because that is our true location! Return! Come back! Come back! We cannot return yet! But the time is coming when we will see and feel this evocation of freedom, humanity, that music brings to mind! Woohoo! Everything here got goosebumps! There is excitement here! Child, you are a sensitive, mystical, charismatic, romantic being of light, with an extraordinary humanity! Feel the vibration of the melody, the beats, the singing, the voices that give you goosebumps all over your body! That's a sign! This is justified! Songs and melodies with vibrations in octaves transport you, for milliseconds, to higher spheres, and the love you receive in that moment, from those who receive it, overflows your human heart with joy! You don't want to go back, because that's your true place! Mystical, surreal, all of it! Yes! Do you have answers? Not yet! It's not the moment! But this feeling of spiritual prison is about to end! The light always wins! Try listening to this melody again, put some incense on, and let yourself be carried away by the melody!
