It's amazing, especially in the Baptismal when, after walking around inside it, you once again emerge into the modern world. The inside of those places is like a time machine to the past and a much less frantic time. Cheers, Rik Spector
Thank you so much for showing us around inside those buildings we visited about 2 years ago but only had time for a hour long walk around the buildings and walkways so we never had a chance to see inside. Truly amazing . Thank you from New Zealand.
I can't thank you enough for this, amazing video! I've visited the Piazza dei Miracoli on August 2018, but our schedule was a bit tight and we didn't have the time to visit these fantastic buildings inside, so thank you so much for the opportunity! I mostly regret not seeing the inside of the Cathedral, so stunning! I hope I'll have the chance to revisit soon, now my thoughts and prayers are with the wonderful people of Italy in these difficult times.. Thanks again, much love from Greece
Another wonderful video. I last visited Pisa in October 2019 and naturally went up the tower. There was a very short queue for tickets and the queue to go into the tower at the scheduled time moved smoothly and swiftly. The Italians have got this sort of thing pretty well organised. I did visit Pisa, and go up the Leaning Tower on an earlier occasion, in March 1989, when I was able to climb right to the top and I have photos of myself standing right on the top above the bells. I have other photos taken of myself on that day on several of the lower floors and at that time in 1989 there were no railings or barriers between the columns on the outside of the floors. I don't think Health and Safety would allow it nowadays. From your video I think I was lucky to have gone when I did as the tower closed the next year. Thanks yet again for this video, as with your videos of Rome and Florence, other beautiful cities I visited in 2018 and 2019, you have brought back some terrific memories.
👍So great to walk around this area again. Love seeing people out enjoying themsleves. Hard to imagine that happening again anytime soon. Many thanks. -Henry
Now that's what I was waiting for all along, the leaning tower of pisa, is on my list for next time we visit italy, day trip from Rome, also visit tarquinia to see the Etruscan tombs and museum.
At 12:13 the Carrara white marble mines can be seen in the distant mountains. They look like snow but is in fact not snow but pure white marble. They are about 40 kilometres away.
Amazing what a virus can do to the world, but am pleased that you did all these wonderful video's before the world stood still, and think what happens when we get back to our lives, with out these videos, the world would be a colder place. I hope you and your family are ,good?
Hi Isaac, thanks for uploading all these old videos, they are such a joy to watch in these such difficult times, do you have an old walk video of tarquinia, of the Etruscan tombs and the town ,it's enroute from Rome to pisa , we weren't able to go to a lot of places on our list due to the lockdown, your videos are the next best thing to the actual visit, actually you videos helped us a lot to navigate through rome and Naples and sorrento...ciao, Dave.
Ciao Dave, No, I've never been to Tarquinia but I'll do my best to get up there. I don't know what kind of schedule I'll have when this is all over. I have a lot of walks planned but won't have as much time now. I bought a book on the Etruscan trails and am hoping to film some those as well. I hope you are doing well! Glad you enjoyed this Pisa walk.

WALKING IN PISA, ITALY: This walk was filmed on December 28th, 2018. In this walk you will see and go in all the main structures in the Piazza dei Miracoli, the Field of Miracles. This includes going to the top of the leaning tower of Pisa! During the visit, I met a great family from back in the States who kindly helped me film the introduction to this video! :) I hope you are all doing well, wherever you are! 🎧For an even more immersive experience, be sure to put on your headphones and listen in 3D audio.
This is amazing. The color of sky is literally sky blue and the harmony with architecture is impeccable.

Ever since I was a child in the 60's and saw the leaning tower of pisa on my View Master, I've wanted to go there. Thank you for the great video.
Yeah, the Leaning Tower is one of those places that really captures the imaginations of kids. I remember the Leaning Tower WAS Italy to me as a kid.
