@@mikeyt3784 yeah I remember. The big east used to be insane. I'm from tampa and watched a lot of usf games. It's so weird how all of those old big east teams don't have the same talent they did back in the day.
Just think if the playoff was around when we had those players. Even though we lost to Pitt we would have still gotten a chance in the playoff. Pigs was flying that day because I can't remember who but someone said Pigs would fly before Pitt would come into town and beat the team we had.
The 4 years pat white was QB at WVU have got to the best ever. Four bowl wins. Who else can say that???
Those were four phenomenal years under Pat white and all the talent around him and coach rich Rod was phenomenal as well
I'm a Mountaineer and proud of it, we love football and the sportsmanship that comes with it, talented young men I admire to this day..
Great team. I remember being surprised. And everyone in the bar I was at cheering for WVU.
I wish at least one of those pat white teams had a chance to compete for a championship. Those teams were so fun to watch.
They did have a chance. An amazing chance. And we blew it against Pitt.....

@@seang9450 it's not weird. Conference realignment is why.

fundamental misunderstanding of college football, wvu had a playoff against Pitt and blew it..this is why cfb is in the mess its in
We should have stayed in the Big East.
