First time hitting Canaan Loop Road in the Jeep Gladiator. A little more than I was expecting!

- Did the Canaan Loop Road trail in Tucker County, W.V. This was our first offroad adventure in the Gladiator. The trail has an offroad rating of 2 and looked like a good choice for our first adventure offroad with the Jeep. Well, I did take into account that it had been raining the day before and the day of our ride, so the water crossings were a bit more than, 12" or less in depth and slow moving streams....lol. Nonetheless, we had a great time and will be back for more trail riding in WV.
I was there last weekend. The water was no where near that deep. You hit it just right. You should have stopped at the end and walked out to Lindy Point. It's one of the best views in the state.
Yeah man, this was my first time there and didn't really know what to expect. My wife was a little freaked out at first with the water crossings and just how long it took to complete the trail, so I was just trying to get through it. Now that we did it once she is wanting to do more. She said now she knows what to expect and actually started buying things to make our outings a little more comfortable. I'm looking to go back and take in all the sights along the way. Will checkout Lindy Point for sure.
Very nice footage Jon, and great work on the video. Next time not only stop to go to Lindy Point, but Table Rock as well.
Thanks Larry. I wanted to stop at Lindy but it was my wifes first time hitting the trail and she was, let's say, a little anxious after being on the trail for 2.5hrs....lol. Next time for sure.
