SPRING HUNT ON ST JAMES - NEW ZEALAND

I was a Deer Culler on the St James station in the Ada valley in the 60's so this clip was so very interesting for me. Unfortunately I couldn't reconnect with the huts they used or locations in the video to where we were then shooting and living, apart from the initial footage, which appeared to be lake Guyon? There was a hut for us at Malings, Lake Guyon, directly behind the old Ada homestead and at the junction of the Christopher and Ada rivers. Four huts for 4 hunters, however we were required to shack up as two for safety purposes. Good old days, for sure.....
