- How to Get 35% Off on Laptops? || bekifaayat #shorts
While GST and Depreciation are obvious benefits for a small business owner, a lot of people are confused w.r.t usage of Personal Credit Cards for availing that extra cashback.
If the expense is for Business Purpose and you’re able to establish the relation between the expenditure with the business of the company in which you’re a director, the expenses will be considered as a business expense.
However, please be aware that you should not make this as normal practice. There are several benefits of using a Business Credit Card over Personal Credit Card - building Credit History of the Business, Higher Credit limit, etc.

Say laptop is of 1 lac and gst 28k
I think what she meant is if she gets the laptop on her company name, she can avail ITC of 28k
And depreciation on 1lac (and not on 1.28lac) which is not the case with getting the laptop on self name.
Depreciation cant be claimed on ITC portion but on asset cost, she can definitely claim.
Exactly you can't claim both ITC & Depreciation on capital assets.
The only way to get the benefit of Depreciation is you have to show the book value of the asset after deducting the GST paid on such asset.
Both aren't mutually exclusive. You can claim both ITC and depreciation provided you don't capitalize the GST paid. If you capitalize the GST paid and hence, claim depreciation on the same, you can't claim ITC. So, for all practical purposes I will capitalize the ITC for assets mentioned u/s 17(5) of the GST act and in all other cases I will claim GST and claim depreciation on the capital cost of the asset.

You cannot claim depreciation on assets on which you have already claimed ITC benefit, either you can add it as cost of assets and claim depreciation or you can claim ITC. Both cannot be opted.

Pehle GST act padho
When you are director you can't claim the taxes, it belongs to your company. 35% discount what a joke 🤣🤣
@RationalThinker you show me a single proof where you could claim ITC on company's purchase on your GSTN portal. It's clear who needs to check his facts and figures
@RationalThinker let me correct you, i am a CA, have audited, filed returns of many companies too. But my ethical standards requires me not to exaggerate about my profession. I think if you find my statement incorrect then let me know where I went wrong
@RationalThinker you knowing is different from what actually he is doing. Explain clearly what he's doing!
Let me guese: the laptop is invoiced in the name of company, company claims taxes, depreciation on it director uses it t for his personal use claiming that its for official purpose. If it's not then let me know what's happening
@RationalThinker lol.. mere experience puchne se pehle ek chiz btha, director laptop kharidne se pehle GSTN kiska dega, apna ya company ka?
Aur ek bth ek company ka director ko GSTN registration lagu hoga kya? Kitne tarah je directors ek company me ho sakte he?
FYI: I am a practicing CA with 2 years of experience. BTW don't judge a CA with his experience, there are many CAs who have many years of expertise and yet don't even know how to upload data in GST portal.
@RationalThinker thu apne facts clear kar.
1)Laptop cannot be an expense for a company unless its taken on lease (INDAS 116 Applicable otherwise INDAS 16)
2) ITC on inputs not admissible when such inputs are utilised for personal use (sec 17 CGST act)
3) GST input can only be claimed when valid GSTN Is provided (facts here represent company has purchased laptop so company ka GSTN dena padega, company isn't director)
4) sole proprietor can avail ITC on laptop purchased if there's a GSTN registered on his name and he is providing outward taxable supplies.
Apne dosth ya CA ko yeh comment dikha and
Your husband is very lucky 👀😂
Haa bolo saale babu 😂😂
sahi ha 🤣
Major Correction: You can't claim tax benefits on depreciation for the Asset on which ITC has been utilised.
Get your concepts right Chartered.... Depreciation can still be claimed...the only restriction is that it cannot be claimed on the amt of ITC as it will not form part of PPE being refundable taxes.
@@nikhilpatil6715 Only if you were chartered, you had known what my words mean.. Net effect of my words in the context of the video, are equal to that of the wordings in section 16(3). She calculated some X% in her thumbnail as off on Laptops and what I said was this X% is wrongly calculated.

Gst benefit will be 15.25% of total, (rather than 18%)
Because if base price is 100, and gst will be 18, then value of gst % - 18/118 = 15.25
However tax benefits on depreciation has increased to whooping 40% !
P.S - your characters are very entertaining 😀
Decreased to 40%.
It used to be 60% p.a.
FYI, under GST act you cannot claim ITC on a one go. You can claim it equally over months till 5 years.
Imagine being her as your wife.. Can save money that we can't even imagine
She is so cute✨❤️ Beauty 😍
mam, u have done some minor mistakes or I can say the math part of the calculation part is wrong
suppose laptop is of 100 rupees and if take GST benefit 18% (18) cashback benefit 5% (5)
but depreciation will not be charged on the 100 it will be charged on actual amt paid by the firm i.e
100-18-5 =77
also as per IT act depreciation rate on electronic goods is 40%
77*.40=30.8
so total benefit = 18+5+30.8=53.80
so benefit of 53.8%
Exactly
Company nahi hai
Credit card nahi hai
Paise bhi nahi hai😂😂😂
Where any person has claimed gst it shall not be included in the cost for claming dep and cash back is also not included depn of 76000 would be 30400 saving of tax if assuming falling in 30% bracket would be 9120 +4% cess 9484 total benifit 18000+6000+9484 = 33484 which is 33.48% .
Please understanding the concept of percentages before making shitty reels. 18 then 12 then 5 will endup at a discount of 31.5 percent😂. Pehle school jao phir gyan bhato.
Usne successive discount nahi bola hai
Har jagah successive discount Jaruri thode hi hoga

Step 1. Become director
Btw company ke naam pr fixed assets lene se ... Ya to ap GST input kr skte hoo... Yaa to depreciation.... Dono ek saath nii le skte..... Dhnyawaad...
Le sakte h as per the provision we cannot take dep n itc on the tax component …

70000-18% = around around 57-58000
Then u cant depreciate 58000 over the life 🔥
Percent can't be added individually.
