When I was younger I played at Northampton, I was only young and didn’t know anyone, I was taking the train and a cab to training, big B found out I was from London and said he could meet me and drive me up. He is a top top man. Didn’t train much in the week till 5s on a Friday, I remember him pinning me and thinking this guys the strongest player I’ve ever played against 😂 quality player as well!
Have a lot of time for this amazing man. Never seen a profesional have so much time for fans at games, especially kids who wanted selfies or autographs. Some of these top players need to take notice.

He was at Swansea city bayo he done ok aswell him and Lee Trundle were a tidy partnership up front they won the LDV trophy 🏆 for us against Carlisle 2.1 at the millennium stadium in 2006 Trundle scored a class goal the swans took over Cardiff that day jacks everywhere 40k at least not a Cardiff shirt in sight 😂❤
Boys I had the exact same thing with Ryanair on a trip to benidorm.. on route back (even though it was the same bag I had on way out ) the woman pulled me to the front after I'd ripped the tag off stating my bag had to go in the cargo bit .. I got so frustrated I smashed the bag in the metal thing and couldn't get it out ha ha my son was fuming and so embarrassed he wouldn't stand with me because everyone was staring .. I was trying to prove a point .. PS the bag still had to go in cargo bit ha ha
akinfenwa was a decent player, but he plays it up big time. It gets a bit boring to listen to over time; he's more atuned to Sky or BT for the hyperbolic convos he propels. Anyway, good pod.
