Hello again! Hope you enjoy the video, a couple things I should mention as well:
For anyone asking me to talk about the masks themselves, there's really not much there. They could either be old ancient artifacts, weapons used by the ancients, or even corrupted by Void/Dark Matter. Either theory is equally as likely/unlikely.
Also, definitely would like more theories too, but preferably ones that aren't "(Thing/Person) is (Ancient/Corrupted by Dark Matter)" conclusions would all be very similar in all of those.

So Dedede DID know about the ancients...and followed their steps by sealing away the darkness. He probably as a stash of all sorts of dark objects that might be used in future games. The Squeak Squad being really good thieves, probably found the chest containing Dark Nebula hidden within Castle Dedede. Pretty similar to how Dedede had a Monster Machine in the anime and nobody knew about it. That’s basically what I understood from what you talked about in the video.
A little question I have is...why does Dark Matter always attack Dedede first? Have they heard that he was the strongest in the land *before* Kirby? If so, then how did they know of him?
I noticed something, so when meta knight is posessed by the jamba heart the pause screen says that hes unleashing a hidden behaviour within him, he also clones himself and the clones (himself included) have the purple effect with them
And in kf2, the pause screen for the moon warriors fight says that it "hid the knight's true nature"
AND he clones himself and a red effect can be seen with his clones
If we make this a bit of a theory and say that dark power gives them certain behaviours, we can take dedede into consideration, posessed by the jamba heart, he stole all the food, just like in the first game
So you may most definitely be right about dedede somehow being posessed or really greedy in the first game
Especially since rainbow curse says kirby came in on a spring breeze, it could be that the moment dreamland was getting in danger, kirby came in

Hey, just a theory (oh no, what have I done!?)
What if Yin-Yarn was a...err... brother? of Drawcia etc. While KEY is arguable (as it was originally a 'Fluff' game) there are just too many similarities. Also note that BOTH Taranza and Yin-Yarn puppeted King Dedede, and Taranza...err... did Paintra (I actually don't remember what was decided about that scene). ALSO notice his needles, which look a bit like Taranza, well, one does. Were they good at one point? Did they... maybe... create Patch Land? Did someone, maybe alter an entire world into yarn? And then INSTINCTIVELY alter ANOTHER world into yarn? Does none of this sound familiar? Was Prince Fluff originally a Kirby? HOW CAN THAT BE EXPLAINED?
And to finish this off with a bang:

I had a theory about Gooey being the mirror world version of dark matter. As it says in the manual, there was a time when the mirror created good reflections instead of bad, so gooey could be the positive reflection of dark matter, just like shadow Kirby is the negative reflection of Kirby.
I now have the headcanon that Dedede and Meta Knight used to work together as a team of heroes, but ended up parting ways after an incident and their friendship was mostly shattered. Dedede became a reclusive and greedy king and Meta Knight became a solitary warrior.
Over time, Kirby entering their lives helped them make amends and rediscover their friendship, culminating in their big reunion in "Kirby Fighters 2", where they once again fight as a unit.
PS: This can both be interpreted as platonic or shippy, both are 100% valid.
But according to Kirby's Adventure manual, Meta Knight is one of the most loyal Knights that Dedede has
@@AzumarillConGafasBv Yeah they're not completely distanced and Dedede knows Meta Knight can be trusted in such an important matter, doesn't mean they were friends again.

In the manual, Dedede says of the Star Rod: "Oh, that old thing. I broke it into seven pieces and gave each piece to one of my friends..."
Since Meta Knight has the final piece, I think it's safe to say that even as far back as Kirby's Adventure, Dedede considers Meta Knight a friend (I guess by extension, we know that Whispy Woods, Paint Roller, Kracko, etc. are Dedede's friends as well). Sure, they've had some rough patches - like the time Meta Knight tried to take over Dream Land, I'm sure that didn't sit well with Dedede. But I think overall they've been friends throughout the majority of the franchise.
I can imagine dededes reaction when he heared about it.
Dedede:"Things sure were chaotic the last few days. What happened?"
Waddle Dee:"Reports say Meta Knight attempted to take over dream land, but he was stopped by kir-"
Dedede:"HE TRIED WHAT!?"

3:46 oh this is totally going in my headcanon now. Dedede saved dreamland, became KING Dedede, the power went to his head, he became greedy, and a pink puffball came to save the day! Its so good!
Or, small change, the people of Dream Land pressured him into becoming king, which he silently resented, and caused him to hate the land that he rules over, hence why he would steal all of its food. Maybe the Waddle Dees were once a race of people that he had saved, and they pledged their undying loyalty to him as he had saved them and also housed and fed them.

I Just finished Dedede and Meta Knight: Superstar Saga Ultra + Kirby's dream friends, It was a blowout blast.
I think Dedede could've still been greedy and power hungry before but would put that aside to deal with bigger threats. How would he be able to reign if a powerful entity is trying to destroy his kingdom?

I imagine he made himself king just so he could have all the food in Dream Land, but then he saw all the things threatening the Kingdom, and was like "Well, guess I gotta defend my kingdom".
And so, he became a pretty good king
I feel like some day we have to eventually find out the connection between Kirby and Meta Knight (and their supposed species), so maybe when that time comes we'll get more information about Meta Knight and Dedede's past before Kirby

This is actually a very interesting theory. I wonder if we'll ever get some kind of pre-Kirby history of Dreamland, or at least what Meta Knight and Dedede's lives were like before the puffball flew in.
Does anyone else notice that King Dedede shattered the Star Rod (KA) and Dimension Mirror (KTDX), and whatshisface Dark Mirror Dedede shattered the Dark Taranza (TCKDX)?
Is he just strong, or is there something else about that star on his hammer? I mean, Kirby is 'borrowing' it with Hammer ability, but when you're an 'infinitely powerful' pink puffball, like, why?
Maybe its an anchient artifact that the ancient Made to destroy other things if they should be corrupted

Definitely an interesting idea, although I’m having a bit of trouble imagining Dedede being a hero honestly. It would make sense though, if Popstar really is this beacon of happiness that attracts evil, as some of the games imply, that it would have needed heroes before Kirby appeared.

Considering the HR-D3(my theory still is that it means Halcandrian Robotics-Dedede), it seems like a valid asssumption. Issue with that is tho, that one would assume that Hyness would react to someone resembling the ancients, considering what they did to him(unless we are supposed to view the fight with him in gueststar mode to be noncanon from the perspective of the mode itself). The theory of magolor being a descendant of them is not affected because one cannot even see what he actually looks like, but the same cannot be said for good ol' clobberin' D.
I’ve had a idea: what if HAL makes a Mario and Luigi style game but you play as Dedede and meta knight? Before Kirby is arrives in dreamland? I just came up with this but it seems very cool!
If HAL were to make a Mario and Luigi style game, it’d for sure be Meta Knight and Kirby, since they’re the closest we got here to a Mario and Luigi type thing. And it’d be a good way to develop them as a mentor and student more during the actual plot and gameplay

Dedede and Meta Knight are best friends. This is cannon.
I've always interpreted the Kirby's Adventure plot as Dedede just happening to be relaxing in the fountain (he clearly enjoyed bathing in it in the intro) while Nightmare started flowing in it. He then panicked and "unplugged" the power source, so to speak. I don't think he needed to have any special knowledge to know what the fountain of dreams or Nightmare could do; heck, even Kirby knew what they could do (as shown in the intro, where Kirby knew of the fountain and went to investigate).
The adventure-version of the intro could potentially be seen as him just checking on the scrubtier seal he created by shattering the rod. The remakeversion of the intro tho pretty muh looks like dedede just liking to screw around with the dreamwater.
In Kirby’s Adventure, Dedede says that he gave the seven pieces of the Star Rod to his friends
I love how this implies that he’s friends with:
A sentient tree
A weird round creature on skates that brings paintings to life
The sun and moon
A cloud
A robot mole
And also Meta Knight

This can also be supported by meta knight’s theme in Forgotten land, it’s called ‘sword of the surviving guardian’ which implies he’s the last one, it can’t be referring to the return to dreamland squad, as Kirby and bandana dee are both fine and active, but you know who’s the one dreamlander who’s evil? Dedede, this implies that dedede and MK were once known as guardians, it can also imply the anime’s lore that he’s the last of a group of guardians, but due to all the evidence mentioned in this video, it clearly is referring to D3/MK being the guardians
Fan Theory: Bandana Dee is the same waddle dee from Kirby 64 (might have even appeared before that) he just didn't always wear the bandana.
For Ribbon's trailer for Kirby Star Allies the entire Kirby 64 gang is there, only one missing is Waddle dee who coincidentally was replaced with Bandana Dee....because they're the same character.

Fan Theory: Queen Sectonia and Taranza are mother and son. There's a litby picture of Susie, Taranza, Kirby all sitting together looking at the starts. Each set of stars each one is looking at redelbles a familiar face. Susie is looking at Haltman, Taranza is looking at Sectonia, and Kirby is looking at a cake. Besides in Taranza's discription, or says "the boy with the silver hair". The word "boy" would be one to discribe a child...

In Battle Royale, once Dedede knows Meta Knight is in the Cake Royale tournament, he immediately decides that MK may throw a wrench into his plans and that they need to get rid of MK. I wonder how that plays into all of this.
Small nitpick that doesn't change anything; There is no reason for Nightmare to have any info anyone would know because he just pop up into existence in Adventure. His non-canon trophy in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U says that he "came from the Fountain of Dreams" at the start of the story, earlier to coming from the fountain right before facing Kirby, so he was created by the Fountain of Dreams like the rest of the dreams the fountain created, he was just a bad dream. That's why "the Nightmares" could ride the currents of the fountain where others dream flow. Dedede didn't literally "seal" him GK style, with no more artifact that creates dreams there logically aren't nightmares too. Nightmare becoming a real, physical being in the end justifies the fountain's ability to create a Warp Star for Kirby in Super Star/Ultra, Magolor likely referring to it as thing that can make dreams come true and possibly the residents in Dream Land wishing their dreams to become true. If Nightmare was some invader from other planet then why was this never stated and what difference does it make tormenting the people of Dream Land over whatever planet he comes from? If he was just from space then why is he so akin to a nightmare and refered to as such? Did nobody dream him but he's universally accepted to be a nightmare anyway? It doesn't add up to say he existed before Kirby's Adventure.
The gimmick the Fountain of Dreams has is apparently common knowledge in Dream Land, so, MK possibly didn't inform DDD anyhting.
Maybe Nightmare is just what happens when the fountain gets corrupted for one reason or another.

@@matti.8465 Sorry to say this but that doesn't add up too, the text said that everything started when "the Nightmares" appeared in the fountain, so some people were having nightmares on their own, thereby if we say that "something corrupted the fountain, and that made Nightmare appear" then we're removing the text implying that this was due to people having nightmares.
That all said, I hope they add some small, harmless retcon to all this by making a prequel story showing what character/s had enough of a bad time to end up with nightmares and unleash what happened in Adventure.
But that raises a few questions if you count non canon entries
Why does Parallel nightmare exist when most Parallel clones relate to another dimension in some way?
How did he know about the Dark Mirror, King D Mind, and Galacta Knight?
@@Murr248 The Dream Kingdom may be canon but we can only think so much about the things happening there making sense as a whole, it takes place in the past yet resent stuff Kirby did already happen there? It's odd, we may just be meant to look at the things that make sense on their own and look aside when facing nonsense.
Parallel Nightmare most likely came from some other dimension, what contradicts this? Another Dimension was used as a means to transpost the Parallel bosses into the Dream Kingdom, but Par. Nightmare can fly through dimensions at will.
The og Nightmare was pure evil and his only motivation was to cause pain to others via nightmares, Par. Nightmare is also pure evil but he's kind of a fix with the Nightmare from the anime, he wants to rule everything, uses monsters to attack, has mind powers, can come back from the dead after his body is reduced to nothing and has the same voice actor, some of those thing justify him being an intelligent being more aware of the world around him.
DDD stole the food in the orginal game to comfort himself bc he had been treated like he was useless once Kirby came around
Yo, what if when Taranza snatched Dedede in Triple Deluxe thinking he was the hero, he felt that way because of outdated information?
It could potentially be. Though the game specifically threw that plotpoint for him to actually be the hero in the end with him being the only reason kirby managed to pull through. So idk.
I still have this theory i thought about. This is my theory the Haltmann Works Company were the ones who damaged shiver star and adeleine left because of it since its been said that she's isn't from popstar and leaves it time to time and shiver star is the only one that would match her and the fact that in the Holo Defence API fight the machine uses a similar strategy as ado and uses two characters (ice dragon and kracko) which are two of ado's most used paintings so I could be possible that they designed it based off of her with being on the same planet.
Now its been said that the company has done this to multiple planets before
So since shiver had plenty of that since it was earth it would make sense to harvest resources. The facility on shiver star has signs of being made by haltmann with the hammer robots which have seem to have been upgraded in Robobot, various creatures being in pods lines up with haltmann collecting
DNA, the music was remixed in planet robobot and was used in similar locations which halmann made, a mall being made near the factory is like how in planet robobot they make more normal places like an ice cream factories and casinos. Then there's HR-H which right away since the similar HR-D3 has D3 referencing dedede it could be that the h stands for haltmann.
Now it's very possible that HR-H is a prototype star dream if the basic name HR-H didn't tip you off. The two are very similar in design both tall large robots that are mainly white with red, black, yellow and blue highlights with large appendages on both sides of their bodies. They also have similar attacks such as lasers, rockets, using their bodies to hit Kirby, flying and being able to change and alter their bodies which star dream combing with the access ark and HR-H becoming HR-E.

Hm, I always wondered how Adeline got to Popstar from Shiver Star if that is where she's from. Shiver looks to be through years of mechanization an freezing over. Maybe Adeline was sent away Superman style by her parents with the magic paintbrush when she was a baby. Just a dumb thought.

Can we get a “canon or cannot” about meta knight and Kirby being the same species?
Perhaps it goes like this:
Both DDD and Meta Knight originally thought that Kirby was evil until Kirby defeated Nightmare for DDD and Dark Mind for Meta Knight.
Meta Knight clearly was neutral to Kirby, more testing him than outright antagonising him. Except for the metaknight's revenge of course. But in the early games, maybe he considered Kirby could be evil but didnt entirely make a call one way or the other.
Even then Meta Knight wasn't directly getting "revenge" on Kirby, but moreover Dreamland as a whole because he didn't like their "lazy" lifestyle, likely due to the fact this makes them vulnerable to attacks from dark forces (which is obviously true as proven by the Dark Matter Trilogy). But even then, Meta Knight didn't exactly find Kirby "evil" or "dangerous", moreover someone who he deemed lazy like the rest of Dreamland before eventually proving that Kirby was at the point of being considered his rival.
@@pyregg1572 Yeah, but there is the fight in squeak squad where he's still angry about that encounter which is also the only time Metaknight didnt offer Kirby a sword, but at that point he's kind of in the right because Kirby literally just destroyed his ship and then came back when he was getting it back up. Really at that point though, its more that Metaknight is angry at kirby's actions rather than assuming Kirby is evil.
@@Yipper64 He wasn't angry at Kirby, he was trying to stop him from getting the chest from the Squeaks due to it holding Dark Nebula. He didn't offer a sword because there's a room beforehand that gives the Sword ability, so Meta Knight never had any personal grudges or "evil accusations" on Kirby like Dedede did.
@@pyregg1572 Okay, why did he not give a sword then? Even if it was about not letting him get the chest, he'd still fight with honour and give Kirby a sword.
Honestly I never thought Dedede and Meta Knight were closed friends, Yes I knew they indeed were friends since Adventure but I didn't know they were that close thanks to Fighters 2...
Oh well, you can learn new things with the most recents games.
I have a couple theories regarding this topic:
1. With Dedede being Dream Land's original hero, I can see that being true, just differently from how Kirby does it. I see Dedede as someone who is cocky, overly-confident and somewhat bad mannered but in the end is someone you can depend on when the time comes. And perhaps after Kirby beat him in the original Dream Land, it could've knocked some sense into him. As for Meta Knight, I can see him being more of a mentor character. Someone who possesses enough knowledge but not enough power, so he worked together with Dedede. Maybe that's how they ended up knowing about Nightmare, like what the video said. And with Meta Knight guarding the last piece of the Star Rod and Dedede guarding the fountain itself, it kinda makes sense. Even the way he protects the fountain makes sense, he literally bathes in it. That kinda corellates to how I see him acting as a hero. And it kinda felt like a test to see if Kirby was really the one who could defeat Nightmare for good
2. I think that Dark Nebula is a form of Dark Matter that materialized through small remains from Dark Matter's last encounter with Dedede. It makes sense considering the fact that he is WAY weaker than the actual Dark Matter. He and Meta Knight ended up locking it in a chest to seal it away, maybe because they couldn't defeat it themselves? Its kinda iffy but that's how I see it
3. Maybe the Masks of Dark Bonds were originally masks created by an ancient race from Dream Land (not the Ancients) meant to signify a form of trust by two individuals. But by the time Dark Matter had arrived, the masks were corrupted and turned into a symbol of Dark Bonds. Then when Dedede and Meta Knight found them, they were somewhat controlled and the Buddy Fighters Tower appeared because of the mask's dark energy. Perhaps the reason Magolor is even in the game is because he say these disturbances and decided to help out. And as for the question "Why didn't he help out in Triple Deluxe and Robobot?", all I can say is that maybe he wasn't all too interested. He did show great interest in all-powerful artifacts and the Ancients. But as for him not appearing in Robobot despite the appearance of a literal Nova, I don't have anything
But in the end of the day, that's just my theories. They might be wrong but eh

There's also the theory that, in Dream Land 1, Dedede's perceived greed could be explained by him stealing all the food in order to safeguard it from Kirby, whose appetite is shown to be even greater than the king's. Love your videos, by the way!
I like to think that MK and Dedede defeated Dark Nebula before the start of Dream land and that may respond why Dark Nebula is the ruler of the underground, what he was doing in DDD castle and why he's so weak
Maybe dark matter always targets Dedede to be possessed as it recognises him from ancient times, seeing him as a main threat and aiming to attack him specifically

Yeah. I think Star Allies called him smart in a pause screen description but that's really hard to believe when you not only take a corrupted mirror you have no knowledge of and the take the wrong hero of Dreamland.

I love that Kirby does inadvertently caused a few of these issues himself. Such example being gathering the pieces of the Star Rod and unsealing Nightmare, the King must've tried very hard to seal him away.
It is possible Dedede and Meta Knight still sometimes protect the kingdom together themselves, without involvement from Kirby. Kirby is often so busy living their best life that they don't notice a problem till it personally affects them (Triple Deluxe, Robobot, and Star Allies being recent examples). Heck, in Robobot we know Dedede and Meta tried to defeat the invasion independently, Kirby only noticing the colonization after waking up. I would not be surprised if the Sworn Partners deal with a lot of smaller threats on their own. And as others have said, the King and Knight tend to imprison or impede threats rather than truly defeating them

it did stated that marx was a bit of a glutton one might call him kirbys polar opposite
I have a theory, about dark meta knight being a dream friend. Maybe he was under Dark mind's influence, causing him to not be himself. then when he was fought again in triple deluxe, he was thinking that Dedede (or Kirby) was D-Mind (or shadow Kirby) who he had a grudge against. but before the events of triple deluxe took place, he probably was still under dark mind's influence, which is probably how sectonia was corrupted without dark mind no longer in the mirror. so when he was defeated, he realized the truth and allied up with Kirby when Star allies rolls around.

I mean it makes sense. The mirrior used to reflect hopes and dreams before it wa corrupted and and shadow kirby is a good guy. However there is 1 problem with this theory and that is triple deluxe. Dark mind was gone at this time however dark meta knight still was evil and corrupted sectonia. His bio even states he wants revenge wich would not be the case if he was corrupted at the time. Well, I don't think that's the case. because dark meta knight was never shown being able to do so. but dark mind wasn't shown doing it either. but in the Kirby canon video on the mirror world, (it is either the old or new one) meteor said that dark meta knight may have not been bad. and when (or around the time) amazing mirror took place, dark mind controlled dark meta knight, but maybe dark mind's influence was still in dark meta knight, causing his influence to leave dark meta knight, and into sectonia.
The manuals states that dark meta knight was created when the OG meta knight was flying towards the mirror to stop dark mind. So dark meta knight was made to be a minion/evil

Theory time: what if King Dedede and Meta knight worked together to seal dark nebula in the chest. But it still could corrupt Dedede and slowly turn him into the greedy king that we see in kirby’s dream land and also when Dedede became lazy and greedy thats one of the reasons Meta knight tried to take over dream land in revenge of Meta knight
Yea, that makes sense. After having worked together for so long, Meta Knight could have felt wronged by a Dedede that changed from heroic to lazy and greedy. Therefore, Revenge of Meta Knight is a story of Meta Knight trying to get rid of a former ally that had become too lazy and greedy to be a defender of Dreamland

if that's the case then that would explain why dark meta knight and shadow dedede(or king D mind) are evil, if dedede and meta knight were really heroes than that means that the mirrors would create them as opposites to their aligment

What if dedede wasn’t always the king, and was a hero alongside meta knight before being crowned. Maybe that could explain the power getting to his head, causing him to steal all the food in the first game.
Not to mention, you NEVER see Meta Knight and King Dedede canonically fighting against each other. (So no Meta Knightmare.)

They separated eons ago over an ancient chest containing the deity , dark nebula , able to control all elements at once.It's sinister influence made the ( self proclaimed ) king a greedy , gluttonous tyrant and the knight a ruthless killer...Until the gelatinous pink sphere with a loving smile came crashing down from a galaxy inhabited by famed warriors of the stars. Once it came into the hero's lives , they reunite and became the Heros of dark bonds .

it could also make sense if you consider that spring breeze was part of super star - since one of the sub-games took place before adventure, maybe another could have too

The Butterfly corrupted Void (And maybe even taught Galacta Knight how to use Dark Energy)
There’s really only one notable piece of evidence here, the fact that one of Morpho Knight’s moves turns allies against you. The only being who could do that was Void. Though it is arguable that the Butterfly was merely using Galacta Knight’s powers, as Galacta Knight is capable of using Dark Energy.
This theory doesn’t really stand up too much but it’s pretty interesting.
I think the power to turn people to your side is something that is inherit to being able to use friendenergy. And that fits because there are only 4 characters(Kirby, Void, Morpho Knight and Hyness) are canonically shown to be able to use that and only 3 of them(Kirby, Void and Morpho Knight) can actually turn people over. And I think that Morpho Knight being able to use friend energy can be explained by it constantly being connected tl the souls of the fallen. Its pause description in the japanese version ststes that it resonated with pleas for life afterall.
To be complete with the analysis, might as well go over the rest of the people. Kirby can use the energy because he absorbed a friendheart. Void because he is made from the opposite of friend hearts. Hyness because he studied both void and also the seal before his failed attempt to undo it.

Meta Masked Dedede Knight
I’m pretty sure Dedede and Meta Knight were labeled Sworn Partners *because* of their journey through the Buddy Fighters Tower and through working together to fight Kirby.
Who else thought King Dedede and Meta Knight died, thinking this is the last game they’ll be in? I was gonna cry because I thought they were dead. CANONICALLY.
I had never thought about this before. But now that it's all placed out it's very logical.

I'd like to bring up a possibility that I've always considered. That Dedede was never truly evil and that his ploy to take all the food of dreamland was an obvious trick to get at Kirby. If we're to believe he is aware of Dark Matter and it's threat and may have fought it in the past a long with MK, then it would make sense that they would be suspicious of a character like Kirby showing up with a connection to Dark Matter. MK would have also alerted Dedede about Kirby considering their possible connection. In an attempt to fight him and bring him over, he could have taken all the food because obviously Kirby is obsessed with eating. Granted I feel like Dedede is still more a rascal then MK's more serious nature. Which is why it developed into a rivalry also and perhaps why Dedede self appointed himself king. He may have been a hero in the past but now a new person shows up and it would make sense why he's jealous but also pretty sus of Kirby. It could also explain MK's reasoning to attack Dreamland as "Lazy". Since dreamlanders were now depending on Kirby to save them rather then save themselves or rely on MK and his force instead. Especially if there was concern over Kirby's very nature as well.
But I thought Kirby arrived on Pop Stsr *after* Dedede decidedhe needs to fill his belly big time.

Dark matter has had more use of possessing and controlling, manipulating the matter itself.
While Dark Mind seems to corrupt minds themselves.
Looking at all the damage dark matter has done, it's mainly physical. Sure, it possesses them. once you Slap the darkness out of them, they go back to normal.
Meanwhile... Dark Mind corrupted the mirror. And dark mind was either killed or banished, the mirror didn't return to normal after all the mirror wasn't always that way.

Decided to watch a bunch of lore videos in lieu of the new kirby game coming soon. Little disappointed that the lore shown in star allies will probably not be elaborated in the new game, but I'm still for new characterization of old characters. Dedede is shown attacking kirby in the trailer at the end of the demo, and despite a new look he doesn't seen to be under any influence. Can't wait to see what that entails
I have a theory: Meta Knight is a far descendant of the scientific ancients.
Meta Knight is very technologically advanced for Dreamland. I can name a few robotic enemies, like Gizmo and the airplane thing that gives Jet, and they're most commonly seen in the Halberd. One of the Meta-Knights is a seemingly unique robot, and Heavy Lobster is almost definitely a custom robot. The Halberd itself is actually a battleship. If the king of Dreamland himself only has a hammer, then what's with Meta Knight?
My theory relies on Galacta Knight. To seal Void, the Aeon Hero must have had some reason to oppose Void, maybe motivated by the scientific ancients' drive to destroy it? If we consider this, it's not that far off to say Galacta Knight was a science ancient himself. Galacta Knight and Meta Knight are both winged, masked, and fight with weaponry. They use similar combat techniques, too. So, it might not be a stretch, either, that they're part the same community (obviously, at different points in time) or even in the same family tree, just really, really far away from each other. The only problem with this theory is where Masked Dedede, Dededestroyer Z, and other DDD-brand robots are from, since this theory's foundation is build on the technological disparity of Dreamland, but they don't disprove the theory directly. Maybe they were commissioned from Meta Knight or something, since he and Dedede are friends.

I always thought that DeDeDe let the glory go to his head, it could also explain why Meta Knight launched his attack on Dreamland. Maybe he was finally fed up with DeDeDe’s increasingly lazy and self-serving leadership.
I've seen your videos and I like them I was wondering if maybe you could make a video that tells us what enemies and final bosses in the Kirby series are members of dark matter I would really like to see how many minions of dark matter there are.
What if all the side stories like Meta Knightmare Ultra and Dedede Tour take place in a parallel universe where Kirby never existed?

The only issue with that is the consistency of it all. Or the lack of it. Metaknightmare ultra is clearly after kirbys campaign because of nova, metakngihtmare returns literally mentions that kirby is taking nap and the original metaknightmare is not even in its own continuity, it straight up just does not happen considering the random second meta knight you have to deal with.
This is a cool idea! I don't think it really fits as canon, since involved games were released so long before serious story entered the series, but the possibility entailed exciting!

I disagree, mostly because of a lack of evidence. But hey, that doesn't stop headcanons! After all, it is cool to think about a Dedede and Meta Knight curb stomping villains once upon a time and being lauded as saviors of Dreamland. Maybe it was that admiration that went to Dedede's head, leading him to start referring to himself as the king of Dreamland, and all of the praise and privilege that would come with such a title (such as being able to steal EVERYONE'S food with seemingly no repercussions). Maybe Dedede's swell head due to all that praise was what caused the initial rift that formed between Meta Knight and the King that would eventually lead to Meta Knight's attempted conquest in Revenge of Meta Knight (with Adventure/Nightmare in Dreamland being a brief truce in order to combat Nightmare).
Theory: void soul is another kirby who has been corrupted, because he can use a move resembling the needle ability, he also has kirbys face!
Canon or Cannot: The Dream Friends in Star Allies are just manifestations create by the Dream Rods.

I think this is less “canon” or “cannot” but rather “can”, meaning that it’s not confirmed, but it’s also not impossible- the evidence is largely circumstantial, but it is my headcanon, and I’m always ready to spread that fanon.
