@@pr0xi_zura. I don’t know which is the hardest part for me. Probably all the high notes since I’m playing 1st and I’m actually the only one playing 1st trombone.
I'm playing this in my concert band, and it's definitely hard because I'm a clarinet player and on the third part so during the sixteenth note runs I have to go over the break lol
Ahh 2013, my final year in middle school and this was the final piece we had to perform. After only two years as a clarinetist, and as a musician overall, 3:06 was the hardest part I ever played at the time. Safe to say, I wanted to continue band after that
AHHHHH I also have the memory of being a clarinetist playing this song! I was in my first year of middle school and was on the lowest chair seating.... lol. It sparked my love for band though!
Im 14 now and it’s the best song of my year and happy to hear it every time✨ Edit: im now in my last middle school grade (16yo) and this song was easy but such a pearl I wad Clarinet 1
Its been TWO YEARS since i played this peice in highschool and I still clap like that 😭 I had the "dry" claps so I had to pound the pattern into my skull and still almost got lost
1st chair clarinetist, very difficult. 1st chair trumpet, EXTREMELY difficult. 1st chair floutist, extra extremely difficult. That is why I chose to stick with clarinet and leave the others with their respective groups.
I’m playing 1st trombone for this in grade 11 symphonic band and gotta say this is one of the hardest pieces I’ve ever played in concert band.
Another thing is that I’m the only one in my whole section playing 1st trombone!
I remembered playing this back in middle school. After only two years as a musician, 3:06 was the hardest part I ever played at the time

My son is doing a solo and he is nervous
When I tell you I’ve cried over this song

Learning it in 2022, clarinetist for 4 years

Im playing it now in clarinet 1 and yes…this part is clearly the hardest💀
My band teacher found the clarinet part so damn difficult he arranged an easier part
I'm also a clarinetest and we are playing this song my junior year but we're doing this part as a duet and I'm one of the people doing the duet

Right now I am playing 1st trombone for this piece in grade 9, and it is seriously a hard work of art
My class is playing it too, pretty difficult
I have to play this, this year as a first trumpet and sophomore in symphonic band
I play this song in band
same, i'm playing it next year tho
I’m playing it now!
Yes)School orchestra 😎
9th grade I played this, that was 5 years ago 🥲
The most Spanish thing I’ve ever heard

Does the part around measure 18 sound like the theme from the Mummy to anyone else?
Woodwind feature sounds great!
That trumpet solo was interesting...
It sucked.
thanks
@@ryanmurphys It's ok, I also performed that solo my sophomore year, it was very nerve wracking!
It's meant to be done live. Typically by more than one person.
@@marka2773 if so, it wouldn't be a solo. It was officially written as a solo, I know because I had to play it.
its me
