I used to love this game back in the 90s!! It was so so brilliant!! N very clever! Because the game was a real bike with air fans attached to the machine! U felt you was actually in the air! Please bring it back!! 😉👍
Prop cycle was so fun and charming. I had a job repairing video games in a mall arcade in the 1990s. Of course, after closing and once my jobs were clear, I often indulged in a few service credits. Prop Cycle and Daytona were the only two that, when we first got them, made me so lose track of time that the guards had to remind me to leave at midnight.
Oh man, I played this a lot at arcade! I spent lots of coins in this game! lol The gameplay was so cool! In fact, it's like a real bicycle, where you had to pedal to gain speed! And the bicycle handlebars to turn right/left. It was VERY cool! You couldn't go too slow, because of the time limit, and you get tired to pedal the bike! lol This was a big screen and when you played, lots of people enjoying to watch it! I miss this game!
I remember this arcade machine was in a bowling alley I would frequent going I have vague memories of getting to the final level but I don't remember if I beat it, I was like 6 or 7 at the time
I played this back in the 90's and have always hoped that an upgraded version would make a return one day Imagine if they could make an affordable version they could hook up to an exercise bike via bluetooth or something?! Could've made a $$$$$ selling commercial grade ones to gyms or collapsible ones for home use during the lockdowns.
Imagine modern remake of this with current gen graphics, mounted on a motion simulator rig where it tilts to simulate the motions of the game, with a VR headset and a giant fan blowing air towards you based on the speed you're going (which would also mitigate what would otherwise be an issue of overheating between the pedaling and the warm headset on your face). That would be the most incredible thing ever.
The game I played in the 90s had pedals and you pedaled the flying bike and their was a fan blowing on you to simulate the wind. The game was definitely prop cycle,but the name of it was a Japanese word like just one word.
Only terrible thing about the game is the stringent time limit. They should add obstacles or make the game a fixed 3-5 time limit per play session with the ability to continue with codes given after completion of a stage. (about the last one is Maximum Tune's doing. There's no time limit, if exists it's often absurdly long, and yet to continue story must feed credits)

漕ぐ人とハンドル操作2名でやってて、ハンドル操作を誤ってぶつかってしまうと後ろに乗ってる漕ぐ人に電気ショックが流れるしかけ。

This game was cute. They had this at Peter Piper Pizza. One had to get on this mini stationary bike, and pedal in the video game. July 4, 2023. USA.
