Regarding the destructive situation of our present Church, Our Blessed Mother did say a few years ago, that we are going through ," birth pangs" . Also that the Church is going through ,as the mystical Body of Christ, the same Suffering and Death as Jesus did. But the roots will give rise again to the Kingdom of God on earth as it is in Heaven. The whole world will be One Apostolic Catholic Church with Jesus among us, in the Holy Eucharist.

I am giving instructions NO eulogizing at my funeral in homily, before or after, etc. I want homily to be an instruction on last 4 things or something similar. I know what you are talking about. I was a funeral coordinator at my parish for years, and it is rampant!
Yes : Confraternities are very strong and the people are very devout. Check out Holy Week ( they walk in penance ) in Valladolid ; Semana Santa Penance in humility is the reason for the robes
I'M not sure about my. priest; he says gluttony is not gluttony, suicide is not a sin, every once known sin is now a "sickness"..... Makes no sense to me. He's 80 years old too, so he's not a progressive kid.
Yes, but he would have been at an age to be heavily influenced during V2. I think as we see that age group die off, things will change. Many young priests are much more traditional.

Look up "Passion Masses" or "Clementine Masses." 6 Holy Requiem Mass's offered for 6 straight days for a Soul. It was implemented by Pope Clement.
