    Ah the struggle to limit the varieties! Enjoy your content and style. Also taking time to learn what I can grow well. Now I’m also trying more perennials from seed. Still hobby farmer stage for me, dabbling in markets, need to take the leap 😊

      I still have not committed to my flower business full time, as I still have a job 20hrs a week and a toddler, so I guess I am still in hoppy stage too. I am planning to make the jump gradually, and eventually give up my other job when my flower income will allow. Wishing you a great growing year🌸😊

    I have a small garden in Surrey which is basically a mix of perennials, evergreen shrubs, and a few hydrangeas (all the different forms). Having the patience for annuals though. I've just started getting into cut flowers for the house and my favourite so far for their longevity in the base are dahlias and alstroemerias. Oh and I was impressed by Echinacea Green Twister. As far as greenery is concerned my viburnum tinus seems to last well. Havnt tried Pittosporum or sarcococca yet, but have several varieties of each. Everything is planted for garden worthiness rather than for the vase, but am sure that if I choose the right plants I can have both. But I need to find more late Spring perennials that make good long-lasting cut flowers too. So I am thrilled to find a UK flower grower TH-cam channel who will be growing plants available and thriving in the UK climate, and hope to learn from continuing to watch you.

      Hello, and welcome. Yes I too use the Viburnum in my cottage garden and Pittosporum is one of my favorite foliage's to work with. Iris are great late spring Perennials, May June is always a bit thin, so I am hoping my new Polly tunnel will help with that. I am going to attempt some alstromerias from seed, but wonder how successful that may be.
      Thanks for taking the time to comment, It genuinely means a lot to me, it encourages me to keep filming.

      @stemsbysuzanne  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes I think it’s the white that I have bought, I will give it a go. My mum had some once that were amazing, but she doesn’t know where she got the seed from. 🌸😊
