Because of the abuse prior to the deaths, Nicole Simpson's sister fought for our current domestic violence laws, including state laws that arrest the perpetrator without the victim being able to stop them, removing the victim from the perpetrator's focus of blame for the arrest. Numerous other DV laws protecting victims and their children were passed in the US because of this case. Bittersweet.

So basically, if you want to send someone to jail without evidence and later bias the courts in a child custody hearing, just keep calling the police and lie about domestic violence. The police will now be required to arrest the other party every time, even if there's no actual evidence of violence!

OJ is the perfect example of “just because you did it doesn’t mean you’re guilty”. The incompetence of LA county is really what acquited him. The glove didn’t fit because it ls kept at below freezing environments to preserve it from decay & decomposition of identifying elements but every single test that it went through required it warm to room temperature which shrunk the glove, this theory has been tested & proven several times over. Because the cops moved evidence before proper documentation was done they could only use one of the gloves as evidence, the other glove would have fit OJ. Another point is you can’t expect someone to make a glove fit when it’s in their best interest to not make it fit, you’re talking giving someone their freedom if the glove doesn’t fit or life in prison if it does.
Iirc he also stopped taking medication and the effect of not taking it swelled up his hands

@@MrTVintro Pretty accurate, although I’ve heard a realistic theory that he actually didn’t do it but he paid this serial killer to do it, the serial killer was in the area at the time & later admitted to doing it, when they raided his house for evidence they found a bespoke piece locket or jewelry belonging to OJs girlfriend (I forget her name). Supposedly this piece was one off for her & nobody but her should’ve had it.
Chris Darden screwed the pooch when he asked him to put the glove on. If they hadn't done that the trial could have went a different way.
He also wrote a book about how he would have gotten away with murder in great detail, "if he had killed her". What a way to rub it in the grieving family's face that you allegedly got away with murder, and then got rich off the infamy too.

Also, he didn't actually write it, it was ghost written and he signed off on it. I don't condone any part of it, but I remember that coming out at the time. Some guy wrote it and pitched it to him and he just agreed to it for the money and then immediately got dinged for it, cause they were **not** having it.

If a Hell exists, I hope O.J. gets one of the worst punishments. Killing his ex wife for simply being with another person after divorcing him, and killing her friend for trying to defend her... It was so personal. I seen photos of her throat, it was so deep that she was nearly decapitated. No normal person can do that
