    Fountain pen ink makers across the world are keeping alive so many colour recipes and ingredients. Iroshizuku make a beautiful purple colour called Murasaki Shikubu, though they say the name is from the well known character, I wonder if they use the original dye for it, too.

    Nooo! I was so hoping to see the front of the jinbaori. The red one seemed to have a wide, silk border at the opening.
