@ It makes sense to sell it separately to make money, just like iPhones don't come with a charger, but it is such an important piece of security for any rock that it should come standard.
I totally agree with the radiator guard being a 1st mod as I did. I was shocked last fall when replacing the pads between it and radiator. I noticed rubber on it face so I decided to blow them off from the backside. Tons of rubber inside the fins as well from track days.
New PV4 has grown on me massively already. As the for the carbon wheels. Rotobox 'boost'. I will name and shame😂 sad really coz just a few short years ago everyone wanted them. Still cream rises to the top and BST have had no such issues to my knowledge.
@Motomillion Now that's a proper motorcycle lift! I'm sure it makes performing mods much easier, with more confidence in it's stability. Great upgrade!
The outer most fin in radiators are called hail fin and it’s like a protective layer of fin so yes it is very important they don’t get bent. Happy new year and the new bike looks so good! One day I will own a Ducati!!

The problem with the rsv4 is the dealer networks but if there is a good reputable dealer near you then it changes the whole story then you should test ride both if not go for the ducati
@@FURIOUSALPHAGAMINGnobody is talking about how the RSV4 is 50lbs heavier than the Ducati. The Ducati has better electronics, better service intervals, better handling and weights 50lbs less. That’s SIGNIFICANT
hey Manny, i have a question you might be able to anwser, do the Hypure calipers fit the R1/R1M? i was thinking of upgrading my brakes and i needed comfirmation first.

It comes with plain spacers and one of the spacers has the integrated reflector. We removed both upper and lower stock spacers. Replacement with the red twm spacer. Just adds a nice little detail and removes the ugly reflectors!
This bike is on the edge of being cursed, broken mirror and cross threaded bolt. Stay safe, I knocked on my desk that nothing goes wrong while your riding.
Not cursed, it is a Ducati. Mirrors are an afterthought for design and function, and bolts are loose / cross threaded. It is just the normal way of things.
What are the caliper spacers actually for? Don’t they change the position where the pads bite on the brake discs/rotors from where the manufacturer intends?
He answered this in another post. Here is his response "It comes with plain spacers and one of the spacers has the integrated reflector. We removed both upper and lower stock spacers. Replacement with the red twm spacer. Just adds a nice little detail and removes the ugly reflectors!"
The aftermarket Ohlins is a more superior setup. Also the price difference for Ohlins and Forged wheels is not worth it. Can add those by yourself for much less and end up with better setup.
@ Tx. Would have been really good after this long video (with many explanations that many of us do not really care about) to see the results of the mods for at least a little longer than 20 sec.
@ no mods will change my opinion on this model, thry killed it with that pingpong aliexpress front . Previous gen was brutal and stylish. This piece of shit look like cheap japan from alibaba. But good luck with mods Manny
Of course it lowers it from not having anything on with a brand new radiator. But a beat up radiator is worse than a radiator that was protected from early miles. Even Ducati now sells you their own branded radiator and oil cooler guards.
Great video! Awesome parts for your new V4 and I love the Star Tek wheels for my 1199R. Looking forward to more videos!
Thank you, we appreciate your support!
Awesome, Happy New Year
Thanks, and let's have a great year!
Great start on your new Panigale! Can’t wait to see the transformation you do to it, Happy New Year to you as well!
Thank you for the support and Happy New Year!
I don't understand why these bikes don't come with the radiator guard as standard.
Because Ducati also now sells them as an accessory.
@ It makes sense to sell it separately to make money, just like iPhones don't come with a charger, but it is such an important piece of security for any rock that it should come standard.
Yeah. It's a money thing. It keeps the cost of the bike lower and they can sell you 1 as accessorie.
Weight reduction
Because Ducati is a money grubbing joke of a company.
How do you justify a $30,000 motorcycle and also sell $20,000 in accessories for that bike?
I totally agree with the radiator guard being a 1st mod as I did. I was shocked last fall when replacing the pads between it and radiator. I noticed rubber on it face so I decided to blow them off from the backside. Tons of rubber inside the fins as well from track days.
Lucky it didnt puncture. Race teams also use mesh. Fun fact it if it is too cold they use tape to block some of the cold air flow.
I loved that DSS since first laying eyes on it. It reminds me of a tuning fork, and to me looks intentionally upscale and artsy. 😊
We like it too!
I really like your first mods 😊

Mani, radiator guards are good for protection but they do make bikes run hotter. You're blocking a lot of cool air hitting the radiator.
You will run hotter if you have a radiator that is beat up. The manufacturers now offer the guards as optional accessories which says quiet a bit.
That 1199 looks better than that v4, who else agrees?
The paint 100% is better. The new paint on these bikes are so soft, anytime you wipe them it becomes swirls galore!

They will not. The caliper bolt spacing is 108mm on the R1/M, the Hypure’s currently only come in 100mm spacing.
@@Motomillion okay, thank you for the help!
Just curious Mani, I see some of the bike o.e.m. Part Take offs around your shop do u save them all or sell some or toss some out? Digging the Motomillion V4 mods so far!
We usually don’t sell used parts other than the wheels. We usually keep all of them until someone sees it and wants it.
Was there plans to get a cbr sp? I remember you teasing it but wonder what happened?
Yes there was. Was never able to get one, the dealers didn’t even have it.
Im confused on the brake caliper spacers, did you just put new ones on or do they need them ?

@@MotomillionGotcha,thank you again Mani ! 🙏🏼 Can't wait to see this build,so far this is the new bike to buy imo 🔥🔥🔥
Can you still put stealth mirror infront?
I am sure they will be making something for it.
Ducati fairing fasnters have always been made out of some type of cheese. I usually throw all of them out for better ones.
In this case it is brie cheese
If you upgrade the wings and the tail to carbon fibre (black) and CNC aluminium black and red clutch, it will be better looking 👌
Thats what every Ducati dealer has. We will do something very different. And eventually it will be a fully painted full carbon build.
What about the 'Tricolore'.....not interested buying it??
Not worth the asking price range, given we usually modify them extensively!
How is the Suzuki coming alone ?
We will be starting back up with it now that our new lift table is here!
Looks like they repositioned the charcoal canister, lets see if it fixed the problem.
It definitely did not.
@Motomillion Oh well, who needs those pesky things anyways 🤪
Nice bike
Thanks ✌️
First Mod: Single sided mirror 👌🏽
Yes, that was done by @650ib!
@Motomillion the man is a visionary! 🤣
Been rocking the single sided bar mirror for years.

The front mudguard is better in carbon black
We will definitely do that!

If you use the same size spacers, they do not move anything around. Basically, it is aesthetic, removes the ugly reflector, and adds a bit of color.

It's 2025
Can you do a review with the ktm rc8
Do a review of a 2008 bike? Which RC8?
@Motomillion ktm rc8c
Your review is nice to watch
and why change forged aluminum wheels to carbon wheels?Their weight difference is minimal.
The standard V4 model that they have in this video does not have forged aluminum wheels they come with heavier cast wheels.
It is not just the weight it is about moment of inertia. Makes a big difference even if it is just 2-3 lbs!
and if there are forged wheels?will the difference be visible if carbon fiber is installed?

Have you ridden the new V4? Whats it like?

I really find Ducati's design language on this and the Pani V2 to be beautiful. I get it, eye of the beholder and all that.
What about cooling efficiency with guards? It must be worse or not?
