Good morning from a very dark and wet Scotland just had a bowl of porridge I would fall asleep watching the flames and the ticking of the clock we are having a quiet day at home Dave the rabbit will not be happy as he likes a wander in the morning but it’s just too wet for him. @@penelopeschinwag we put this in it belonged to a judge on the outskirts of Nottingham, cost 25 pounds, the glass mantle cost 25 pound from a second hand shop down the road, the man was like a weasel, he was a money lender and a local fence.No offence to weasels…..xxx🐝🐝
I remember my mother raking the ashes in the morning, to set the new fire. She used to make newspaper doughnuts to get it started. Then she would light it with wooden quills, they were different colours, l used to play with them. Then she'd put the fireguard on, and put newspaper on the guard to get the fire going. No health and safety then, and we all survived 😊

I should be but am not. I’m covered in arthritis and various other ailments. My mind and spirit is though. I was working at 16 just passed my birthday, I think I gave it my all. I am the one with all the health issues out of us four siblings- so I’ve called myself the runt .lol xxx
