Phuket Old Town is a 200 year old Sino-Portugese town on the east side of Phuket. known for its brightly coloured buildings, influenced by Chinese and Portugese settlers in the area, it really does offer a very different vibe to the rest of the of the island. With cafes bars, restaurants and ice cream stores, and the odd market or 2 on a sunday it really is worth a visit if you get the chance. While we were here we also discovered Thailands ONLY Harry Potter themed cafe, so we decided to pop for a cocktail and see how well themed the place was.
