    Have this exact color! It was between this and green. Currently at 115 miles. So far so good. Took it on work commute of 39 miles on PAS 6. Had to have a full battery charge both ways. Only complaint is that the battery charges in 8-9 hours from empty.

    I use hand signals, most people just wave to me and then get pissed at me when I turn right and they waited for me to go by. I don't think most people even know what the hand signals are anymore.

    • @Bigdog1787
      @Bigdog1787 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They don't they even did a study on that and most people no longer know what they mean it's why I'm trying to get turn signals on my bike but most attach to seatposts could not really find a good one for rack mounts. It's why I having to make a bracket for one I have to put on the rack.

      I'm in Canada, have toured across Canada twice and did a circle around Canada and the States in the late 90's. I absolutely agree people seem to be puzzled when you signal. One guy in Texas got mad, he thought I flipped the finger.
      I believe they should really stress hand signs more in the drivers test.

    love your video, glad to see someone testing out Addmotor's bikes I ride a M-60 R7 to work every day have over 1600miles on it and it is a work horse just cant say how happy I am with mine. Thank you for this video.

    I like the style and delivery of this review. It's more entertaining and still full of meaningful content. Your informal descriptions and explanations--and knowing your history in the industry--makes the viewer feel like they're witnessing a genuine, honest assessment of the bikes strengths and faults.

    For a cargo bike, which in real life will be on the roads mixing it with city traffic, a good loud horn is essential. A bell is for pike paths. Cheers

    Thank you for taking the time to review and comment on this cargo e-bike. It is critical that we continue to develop and improve all types of performance to make the electric bicycle ride more comfortable and safe😃 We all hope that this industry continues to improve!

    Love your video. One thing I would like to see Ebike companies do is provide some sort of anti theft mechanism like a locking handle bar.

    • @jacquesblaque7728
      @jacquesblaque7728 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Absolutely should be a top priority. Who wants to buy a neatsy-zoomie new bike for some low-life to ride off with. Good VINs and registration would be highly useful also to make theft more difficult. Forget the bar; enable locking the fork and an axle. Bike looks good, but lose the do-dads.

    Just finished reading your manifesto book, nicely done. If you cut the zip ties right behind the head you can reuse them, and if you do it correctly you can recycle/reuse almost all of the packaging instead of sending to to a landfill.

      @EbikeSchool  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That’s true! I often do that on the big ones since those are expensive and harder to find. Same thing on thin but long ones. But the cheap little shirt ones barely leave much usable room left so I usually don’t care about those.

  • @brockedwards5896

    Awesome idea, using the cargo bike to drag the box to the dumpster. It almost became airborne for a second. I bet if you would have increased the speed before dragging the box, it would have flown behind the bike on the way to the dumpster.

    that’s a deal especially with 20ah battery.
    Think they missed the mark with kickstand though. Cargo bikes need a center stand so they can be loaded, hopefully they welded a “stay” for one to be added

    also look like a way to small front gear, so pedaling above 15mph is crazy. i have a 750w folding fat bike with a 20ah battery, it does not last far on top speed. it does 60km on 18mph and pedaling, i put on a 58t front gear to be able to pedal at higher speeds.

    I already own two of your books and I've got to say it has come in handy when researching a specific concept. The brake levers and shifters can be adjusted independently from the handle bar position. There is an Allen head bolt on the bottom of each clamp that goes around the bar. Loosen it, move the brake lever or shifter to your preferred position, and then tighten up the bolt.👍

    I replaced my Car here in S. Florida 15 months ago with a Heybike Cityscape, great decision, save $300+ month on Insurande, gas & repairs/ maintenance.
    Only negative is the rainy season july-sept,
    Just had to replace my Waterproof Display, got caught in a deluge 2 weeks ago, $100 to replace Display & connecting harness.
    Had to Uber until parts arrived -$80, but ok now, learned an expensive lesson, Ebikes can get wet but not Soaked in heavy rain 😉

    Instead of a horn or bell I just tell people which side I am going to pass them on. I still always use a torque wrench, no guessing= no loose/broken bolts or stripped threads. A hair cut would help with the heat. After 3 comments I have “ left the building, thank you very much “

    One of the problems with e-bike reviews generally is the lack of worldwide legal classification knowledge.
    The USA has the three classes. Many parts of the world do not share this system
    Australia has adopted the UK system of using EN15194 certification for e-bikes. That is: pedal assist only (no throttle control); 25kph max power assist speed; 250W max motor. The intention is to keep the e-bike as the same use classification as push bikes so they can share pedestrian and bicycle paths and use bicycle marked lanes on roads. No licence or registration is required.
    Anything that does not have EN15194 certification is legally a motorcycle, and the rider must be licenced, and the vehicle registered and insured. Motorcycles cannot use bicycle lanes or be ridden on pedestrian paths and sidewalks.
    So:
    This cargo bike would be considered a motorcycle in Australia.... and for that reason: the loud horn and turn indicators would be needed to pass motorcycle registration requirements.
    There is method in the madness (sometimes).
