Any word on the girl that crashed the CTSV towards the end of day? Was watching the livestream and it looked like a pretty hard couple hits. Had the track shutdown for over an hour.
@@petercooney8526 Yes, I did see that update on there last night. Glad to hear she is okay. It was a hard couple hits, I was watching the livestream while I was working and it had me worried for sure. Hate to see a fellow racer get into a wreck like that.
I feel the same way. No knocking Cletus but he needs to stop messing with stuff. I mean, the talent that put that car together and tuned it have years doing such excellent work and he's a law school dropout .....
well, now i can skip the cleeter video since mullet didnt make any good runs. Ruby is so consistent its boring. JK i am stil gonna watch good ol cleeter
@@TheFlooringInspector82 Jimmy is running on an 8.50 index..needs to rein in the old girl some more..but Garret isn't anywhere close to the head of HIS class.
@@TheFlooringInspector82 Ya but Mullet red lighted and Ruby went down the track. Ruby wins. There has been a 100 different reasons why she wins but she almost always does. At least against anything out of the Cleetus shop.
@@likilikiki He backed out of the beams at 7:45 and the red light came on. He red lighted regardless of if he was going forward or backwards. IMHO they didnt line up side by side for Mullet to lose. Especially being James is limited to an 8:50 bracket. I think Garrett finally wanted to have Mullet beat the little red corvette head to head but once again her luck held out. Look folks, I'm not saying James is a better driver or Ruby is the fastest in the fleet, but she goes down the track stright about every time and there are very few times she couldn't line up and make the hit. It says something about consistency. You sprinkle in a little of the dumb luck she seems to have against her fellow team cars (smoking tires, broke cars, red lights) and I dont remember the last time she lost to another of Garrett's cars and the only person that couldn't get it to go down the track was Diesel Dave and the car was broke before the hit.

Why do I feel so let down when mullet doesn't make a good run. 😔 I know racing isn't easy. I have to find a way to cut them some slack.

Not sure why Ruby isn't running faster... they once had it dialed pretty deep into the 7s.

Somehow Ruby always beats everything in Garrett's stable.
Mullet went 7.3 Ruby went 8.48. Ruby has never been faster than 7.52. Ruby is second fastest in the fleet.

There was something wrong with the car and these are not heads up races.
