Card version is so much simpler...
I really like Sushi Go and I've been thinking about buying Sushi Go Party.
Would you recommend Sushi Roll instead?

Thank you, I have only played Sushi Go and Sushi Roll, haven't tried the Party version :)
Sushi Go Party takes longer to set up but it's got a lot more variety than just the cards of the base game (upon which Sushi roll appears to be largely based) - they both look fun though!
Sushi go party is an expansion of sushi go. It includes the classical sushi go as well as more new cards. Definitely go with sushi go party. It's simpler and doesn't require dice rolling.
