Nike always does this, debuted a dope Olympic colorway just to release this garbage. We will probably never get a chance to purchase the best colorway. 🚮
They really do. One of the most egregious is when they debuted the KD 9 in two preheat colorways, black multi color with an iridescent swoosh (really really nice) and a white color way with hyper punch and an iridescent swoosh. They only released the white colorway and I desperately wanted the black version.
It's as if they know people want the good colorways but didn't want us to have them. the GT Cut 1 white hyper punch... Super limited, resell is crazy. That's another one.
To be perfectly honest, I think the heel portion is on the softer side, so they may work against you if you're weight training. While they're stable, I feel like you need it to be a bit more firm to get the most from the workout. For light weight training I think they'll be perfectly fine but anything more than that you may want a dedicated shoe like the Nike Romaleos.
Pretty good, since you're foot is sitting on a wide base, it feels fairly stable especially with the way the midsole wraps around the lateral side of your foot.
I've never worn the metcon series but they look to be much more low to the ground and firm which would make them more stable, I'd say based on that, they would probably be better and more stable.
I honestly thought they were releasing yesterday (9/19/24) but now I'm not sure. They're on the Nike as coming soon but no date. my assumption now would be tomorrow since Saturday are "usual" release days for most Nike product.
I don't have a whole lot of experience boxing but I think from a sparring perspective, I'd assume yes, they'll keep you comfy and relatively stable. On the martial arts side, I don't think so. As a kid taking tae kwon do, we attended classes and tournaments barefoot.
Sorry for the delay... I was trying to see if there was anything in the way of arch support and there didn't seem to be anything special going on. I think if you're looking for more support you might want to replace the insole with a more premium one with arch support to provide some relief with these trainers.
Yeah it's a hard sell especially with the metcon series offering zoom of some sort. Even if they did cushion or zoom x (it would blow up the cost of the shoe) would be an easier sell.
Yeah, I've been thinking about the pricing. For a training shoe that doesn't actually feature any real advancements, it's a tough sell (if you're a Bron fan and wanted a branded training shoe, you've hit the jackpot). I do think these will get discounted sooner than later though. But I think this is just the start... We may even see LeBron branded football boots (soccer cleats??) amongst other equipment for other sports.
I have a pair they fit better true to size small feet they look terrible on his foot gap at the front and says theyr not premium misses so many points my vid coming
Thank you!! I tend to agree, I think people who REALLY want them will pay full price but fit the materials and cushioning tech I see these easily coming down to $/€70-80 easily. We saw it with the LeBron 22 and I think we'll see it with these.
The foam is on the softer side but I think they should be ok for squats. The base is wide enough. If you prefer a more firm base then definitely go with something like a Romaleos.
I think it depends on your preference, I think if you prefer a more firm shoe the Metcon is probably the way to go. If you'd like something a bit more soft/plush the TR1 is the way. they're definitely comfy I just think they may be too soft for some. Considering the Metcons have been around for so long, it's a shoe that's been ultra refined so I think you know what you're getting with that series.
If there's anything I missed or if there's anything you'd like to know about the Nike LeBron TR1, leave a comment! Thanks for watching!

They just now put out a Black and White GT Cut 3. 😢

Dope review! Been waiting on someone to do a video on these
Thank you! I've been excited for these, they're a really good looking shoe.
Dope. I like the purple colorway. I’m still waiting for more colorways to drop.
Same, of the announced colorways these are my favorite but I'd like to see what else they have beyond what they announced.
First one to do it !!!
In your opinion do you think they will be stable enough for weighted squats, deadlifts?
To be perfectly honest, I think the heel portion is on the softer side, so they may work against you if you're weight training. While they're stable, I feel like you need it to be a bit more firm to get the most from the workout. For light weight training I think they'll be perfectly fine but anything more than that you may want a dedicated shoe like the Nike Romaleos.
How are these with lateral movements? and do your ankles feel stable?
Pretty good, since you're foot is sitting on a wide base, it feels fairly stable especially with the way the midsole wraps around the lateral side of your foot.
is it stable like the metcon for strength training/weight lifting ?
I've never worn the metcon series but they look to be much more low to the ground and firm which would make them more stable, I'd say based on that, they would probably be better and more stable.
When are these releasing?
I honestly thought they were releasing yesterday (9/19/24) but now I'm not sure. They're on the Nike as coming soon but no date. my assumption now would be tomorrow since Saturday are "usual" release days for most Nike product.
AE1s with a Nike swoosh
...I see it and I never even noticed the resemblance. Especially with the texture on the foam.
would they be good for boxing/martial arts?
I don't have a whole lot of experience boxing but I think from a sparring perspective, I'd assume yes, they'll keep you comfy and relatively stable. On the martial arts side, I don't think so. As a kid taking tae kwon do, we attended classes and tournaments barefoot.
Is this good for flat feet?
Sorry for the delay... I was trying to see if there was anything in the way of arch support and there didn't seem to be anything special going on. I think if you're looking for more support you might want to replace the insole with a more premium one with arch support to provide some relief with these trainers.
I can only see 8 years old wearing these.
😂 valid opinion, the bright colors and shape for sure. I'm genuinely curious if they'll release these in children's sizes.
$130 with foam only cushion is a hard pass
Yeah it's a hard sell especially with the metcon series offering zoom of some sort. Even if they did cushion or zoom x (it would blow up the cost of the shoe) would be an easier sell.
looks like a nike cash grab with lebrons name on it i expect some quality at 130

Lebron- i need some casual
Nike- Lebron what do you want?
Lebron- Yeezys
Nike- ok
😂😂😂 you take the swoosh away and boom.
LeBron ×AE1 lol
I didn't notice before but someone commented that earlier and... I see it. They said take the swoosh away and that's what you have.
Lowkey looks like yeezy.
Someone said that earlier, I think if you take the swoosh away it definitely can pass as a Yeezy lol
Good on SALE for 90€.
I definitely think they'll get pretty cheap especially if they're making as many colorways as they are.
I have a pair they fit better true to size small feet they look terrible on his foot gap at the front and says theyr not premium misses so many points my vid coming
Can't wait to take a look!
Nice review. Still think €130 is a lot of money.
Thank you!! I tend to agree, I think people who REALLY want them will pay full price but fit the materials and cushioning tech I see these easily coming down to $/€70-80 easily. We saw it with the LeBron 22 and I think we'll see it with these.
can it pass as a hoop shoe?
While I definitely think you can (I've seen people play in trainers like air max and the like) I don't think you should...or at least I wouldn't.
Are the grip and containment good enough to play basketball?
I personally wouldn't play in them, I think the foam would be too squishy for it HOWEVER they should be ok from the containment side.
Diddy would like to know if these would be good for.... nevermind...😂
😂😂😂
Can you squat in these?
The foam is on the softer side but I think they should be ok for squats. The base is wide enough. If you prefer a more firm base then definitely go with something like a Romaleos.
No zoom or air??? Lmao😴😴😴
Yeah I'm a bit disappointed tbh. For it being foam they're not bad at all but I really want zoom.
@@thereviewdwon’t zoom be too soft for a training shoe?
@MarvFitBikesKicks I think if you have a thin zoom unit it should be a bit more firm. That or even an air unit since they're even more firm (usually).
Metcons or these?
I think it depends on your preference, I think if you prefer a more firm shoe the Metcon is probably the way to go. If you'd like something a bit more soft/plush the TR1 is the way. they're definitely comfy I just think they may be too soft for some.
