I really love how you took an ordinary box and turned it into a monster book. I never would have thought of the box idea. I think it turned out perfect!
@@RavensMinis Lol sometimes the older ones still bring us the most joy, especially on binge watch days 😌 ya learn a lot and get to dream create at the same time Lol 😂 I admit Im hooked 🦇
You have a very nice voice. You know, you can easily add motion effects to your book, and scary sound effects with Adafruit or Arduino boards. You can make the jaw move with a motor attached to a motion sensor when someone is close, and you can have it make growling noises when someone is close or opens the book. You can also put miniature LEDs behind the eyes on your book, that will cause them to glow if they are translucent, that can also be motion activated. I'm great at making suggestions for other people....
@@RavensMinis , You know, that sounds like it would be a great collaboration: people who design things like yourself, and then electronics nerds who can jazz it up for you. Of course the expense might not be worth it for you.
Me and kitty had to leave the attic and go back down to Edgar Allan Poe’s room to collect my heart from under the floor boards. It fell out when the monsters from this book came after us last night. We’re looking for wonderland to move to with Alice now.
Looks great and some better ideas than I've seen on other tutorials, but no title or belt and no tentacles?? Would like to see those added for additional realism.
@@RavensMinis please do, I was disappointed you didn't include tusks. I'm using Teddy Bear eyes so will be poking them through the fur I have, not as long in the "thread?" as yours. Cost me AU$18.70 for 40 linear cm. Am going to be making my teeth and tusks this weekend, hopefully, based on another video, I'm mixing some of your techniques with some of theirs and some of mine, also hoping to add some automation to it, eventually!
Just curious what you call craft glue?? I'm in Australia and have seen a number of different glues referred to as craft glue, everything from a clear tacky glue to plain old white pva. There needs to be a clear, global, consensus on what is what, especially now that TH-cam is making it so easy to see how everyone else does things. I often see the groan on Customer Service people's faces when I walk in to my local hardware superstore and start with "I saw this on TH-cam..." apparently they get that a lot and can't help!!
I'm in Australia too. The craft glue I'm referring to comes from spotlight. Can also get it from bunnings from the brand Boyle. It is similar to fabritac glue and has a strong smell

I agree, you really have a soothing voice, it is very calming to listen to you.
With faux fur that beautiful and realistic, no animal should ever have to die so that humans can have fur.
Exactly! And you can make wonderful crafts just with a faux fur jacket for 4$ from the dollar store :) Thanks for watching!
Браво!!! Круто!!!
This is a dream project of mine! Really well-performed, like your Monster Book sooo much😃
Thank you! It is an old video and I learned some new tricks along the way. I can probably redo this video

haha there are so many people that can do that stuff. I have no affinity with anything mechanical or electrical whasoever!

Exactly what I plan to do, eventually. As well as fill it with scraps of paper that can fly out when it activates.
Nice, keep on going. I am sure you are going to reach 1000 subs before long.
tom tang I most certainly hope so!! 🤗
Love it!!
Great video
Thanks!
This is so cool I love it 😀
Needs a belt to keep the monster book closed.
All this needs is an rc car setup on the bottom and then it’s just like the movie version!!! 😂
Hahaha yes ! It still lives on my HP shelves

Wonderland might be made at some point in the future... 😉

This is an OLD video. I would do it different now and definitely deserves revisiting this project

JK Rowling is or was or whatever I don't know, a great story writer
most definitely
I used to watch Harry potter and go into that universe
I absolutely love that universe! Stay tuned for a Harry Potter themed miniature room that will be up later today!
