- I’m still playing Wizards Unite and the Cornish Pixies are everywhere, so I thought, why not make one?

Wire
Aluminumfoil
Metal mesh, I found mine at the store that sells basic stuff to repair cars
Small needles/pins
Super Sculpey
Liquid fimo
Clay softener
Black glass beads
Sculptingtools silicone, metal what ever you have at hand :D
Paintbrush, a varety of sizes
Acrylic paint - black, cerulean blue, yellow, red, white
Scalpel
Oven - to bake the clay :D
Varnish - Glossy
Pliers and nippers
Water
Clear drying hobby glue
Nylon thread
Scissor
Clear styrene sheets - I used 0.4mm/015”, from evergreen scale models
Clear 3D Gloss for embossing

Your Pixie is just so sly-looking and mischievous, I'm fond of it! The sculpting skill is cosmic🤯 also a cool arthack with wings, very convenient

This is absolutely stunning and truly breathtaking! I love that this looks exactly like the ones from the movie! You are incredibly talented and I am very grateful that you took the time to create this project and do this tutorial! It’s absolutely amazing! I wish I had even a fraction of the talent you possess! Could be because the pixie looks disturbing or they don’t want this in their recommendations. I mean it isn’t so disturbing but I don’t like the way they look for some reason I can’t figure out.

You inspired me to make Harry Potter clay ornaments this year. My brother suggested I make a cornish pixie but I said it was way too hard... you make it look so easy! I hope I can get on your level one day.

This is awesome, I just watched this movie last night :)
Now you just need 20 or so more to fill that cage up... Just Kidding though it would be a cool looking prop if it was full of Pixies. Just need to make a bunch of different poses.
It would take forever if you sculted each one individually and doing a mould of the main body parts and just have things like the head, hands, feet, arms and legs done in a few different poses that can all be interchangeable to creat different looking Pixies. That way you dont have to sculpt each one from scratch. Just need to cast a bunch of each part, pick and choose what combo for each Pixie. Glue, fill in, touch up, paint, and set into the cage.

Never mind Harry Potter, this is straight out of the pages of "Faeries" by Alan Lee and Brian Froud! It must've been just about my favourite book as a child, and is where I read Goblin Market by Christina Rossetti for the first time. Unless it was in the calendar inspired by the book...

@@boyinblue. This does not surprise me in the least. In the few videos I've seen so far, your work shows the same level of depth of mythology. You put that backstory in every piece, be it centuries-old lore or an RPG character.
I can watch a dozen fairy house builds on some other channels in one sitting and not miss any details, but with your videos, I like to savour the process and learn from your techniques.
Heh. The family holiday meal (where my mum has successfully implemented gourmet tips from Gordon Ramsey) to their potato chip crafts.

Brilliant! Well done, an excellent video and your sculpting is beyond compare! Just a tiny comment for you, in Cornwall these creatures are referred to as PISKIES not Pixies, J. K. Rowling got that wrong! (Assuming that a fantasy can be wrong!)

In Cornwall we actually call them Piskies not pixies. Piskies are spirits of people who aren't bad enough for hell but aren't good enough for heaven

What silicone tools do you use? I'm just starting out on sculpting and bought some cheap tools to begin with. But my silicone tools have no give to them. Yours seem very flexible.
