@craig5447 I just about parked 5 from the reds today with it. 15 feet short and sank the putt. Just like the practice throws, pretty dead straight. It has tremendous glide, too. I thought I threw it really low, but it just stayed in the air all the way.
@Kennb19 They could be clearing out a bunch of stuff. Discmania posted a video a little while ago looking forward, and they are going to have some big changes. Stuff like the Active line will disappear altogether and molds will move around to different lines, and I think he said they were dropping the Methos, so it's natural they would want something to replace it.
@@greybearddiscgolf yeah I want to buy more boxes but idk if I want to choose the known variety of the red boxes or the cool 3-4 discs in the black box haha it's a huge dillema
Thank you kindly! Now if it stops pouring rain, I can get out and throw them, although as my mom says, "Whattaya made of sugar?" It's the West Coast. It rains. I need tonget over it.😅
Yo stumbled across your channel, we played at BC open together. Video looks crispy! I'm curious how the proto balance flies in comparison to the glacier
@discgolfchronicles Yo right back atcha! I'll find out today. I have thrown the Glacier a couple of times and it's much straighter than I expected, and I'm filming throws of the Gyropalooa Box today. Stay Tuned!!!
You hit the nail on the head there. I just looked at the Rock's I have, ( a regular haloand a champion), and they are nearly identical. Same dome, but the Roc3 has a bit of a bead, and the Glacier has no bead so it should fly pretty much the same. Good eye!!!
So i throw lighter disc then most i haven't bought a mystery box yet because i don't want to get sick with a bunch of heavy disc i cant throw is there a mystery box that is just for lighter weight disc?
@H00pster66 Not that I've ever seen. I remember thi king that last year, as I would rather be throwing stuff in the mid to high 160s, and the only lighter discs I saw were in the Gyropalooza box, but still it was only a couple of discs out of the whole box. I would love to see a box with the same discs but specifically in lighter weights. MVP does a bunch of discs in Fission plastic, so it shouldn't be that hard for them.
@greybearddiscgolf ive been thinking about baggin some of the fission plastic. I been finding most of my disc threw fac2 site. Ive been able to pick up teebirds thunderbirds in the 150g range still as overstable as the max but they turn quicker in flight.
@H00pster66 In that case, might I suggest something from the massive distance menu? The Fission Dimension in 166g flew amazing for me. I did a video on it and the Defy earlier in the year. If you have a bit more torque you can also try thr Fission Time Lapse, again flew great for me. In the Innova line, the Pro Plastic is absolutely slept-on in my opinion. My Pro Destroyer at 166 is one of my most trusted discs for distance.
@joestierhoff589 did you order from the US or Europe? I bought mine early because I'm in the Shield Club so we get to buy a day early, which was Boxing Day here in Canada.
You were kidding that dd3 is really pretty! The glacier is the big win here i think. Its a lovely disc to throw.

That Glacier is a beauty.....love the way it looks.
We'll see if it flies the way I hope too. I would like to see it be not as overstable as my Pyro, but more overstable than my Hex.
Certainly one of the prettiest discs in my collection.
@@greybearddiscgolf I have a Crave with those same colors .... very stable for me and I love it.
Great video!! Thanks for sharing.
It looks like in almost every black box, they put in a instinct and a fd
Then a splice for the specialty disc even tho it's clearance in the eu rn

I’m so excited for mine! 🎉
Awesome box!
@@TateFuhriman Thanks! I'd love to see what you get. I'm going to be throwing that Glacier at some weekend club events tomorrow.
I got exact same discs!
@@JarkkoTo that's wild! At least I didn't get any doubles, like in the Gyropalooza box.
Can you show how you made that shelf?? Looks pretty sweet
Great video! 💪🛡️

the glacier looks exactly like the Kevin Jones tour series Halo champion roc...

What kind of brackets do you have holding up your collection looking to make a storage system
@fish3rman84 I found a file on Thingiverse and then found a guy on Facebook who could print them. www.thingiverse.com/thing:3683878.
How did you get your box already I ordered mine a 2 weeks ago and still haven’t received it or update on shipping

I was hoping the top comment would mention David Letterman.
@@joshs7467 I always thought more like John Larroquette... at least the most recent John Larroquette from the new Night Court.
