I don't agree with tip #1. I move mine to prime locations for resources appropriate for my stage of the game where there are no towers. I have never found myself on a time out. You can teleport to your home without location restrictions unlike towns and towers. After clearing an area, go home, recycle your scrap, set some crafts, refuel and repair. Use the towns and towers after to hand in quests and move on to your next POI.

No matter what reason you leave your base for, typically you are not returning within 10 minutes. All in all the cooldown is only a deterrent for people who leave their base before they were ready to leave their base.

Or if you are traveling to fish/mine or one of the other many things that are a go do this and be done. The cool down is only there to slow down gameplay. It's a feature that we wouldn't need. Why would you want to build near a Teleport Tower? It defeats the purpose of Teleport Towers. You can teleport to your base at any time and to any teleportation tower from your base at any time. Your base should be near resources instead.
Just created my character and haven't gotten very far but was curious...Do you have access to your storage items when crafting or do you have to pull the items out to use them?

so after a season ends you are give some material points and some time for eternaland. You get to keep furniture formulas, your weapon blueprints and other but you use those material points to transfer whatever you want to keep in Eternaland i still don’t know i how much stuff you can put there or how it really works but thats the premise. If you play with friends you can manage that like someone can put there starting resources other end game resources
No just content isn’t accessible for a certain time. I don’t think many people took a week off to play and didn’t already know it would be gated 😂 they’ve been very open about that

If you are leaving your base for under 10 minutes you might have to ask yourself, "Is what I'm doing worth it or is there something more optimal I should be doing?". Basically you want to ask yourself if what you are planning to do is an effective use of your time. If not, maybe you should reconsider what you should be doing.
Tip Nr5 is Bullshit. Build somewhere, where no tower is near. So you have a point there. You can always teleport home and then to every tower on the map. Why wasting a point near a point? Makes no sense.. The short timer is your problem? ..

You can just put all the items in the storage boxes and can access them freely when at base
