I wonder if its to do with how one gives the food to start with.
I think crows like to work for it a little, it seems. Im theorying on the spot-out-loud so to speak - If you give food straight to the crows (in an open pet bowl or plate or tray) or put it directly on the floor then maybe this doesnt build a 'dialogue' or bond between you. Its more of an understanding which may mean little/no respect or trust therefore no necessity to bring things as those actions of bringing things would be a response/dialogue of sorts and that can only be formed through some form of trust weather its momentairly instinctually or from having been built, I think.
I guess you may be able to prove the theory either way, depending how do you feed the crows.

@@K4inan That is a pretty harsh statement. Though it is true that the internet has certainly had its effect on people and making them worse, way worse, than they have or would have been before it, we should still cherish the fact that we are allowed to use the beauty of technology and experience it! Perhaps it’s not in your world view, but I would still thank you for a little bit of optimism, as the world doesn’t fox itself with being negative. :3

The crows are leaving you clues to a great message. That's awesome. They know you're talking about them. That's why they responded so fast.
    Keep up the great work.

We have a family of crows here that like to come and eat stuff we put outside. Usually things that have gone stale. Bread, chips, cereal, leftovers, etc. You can almost always call them in by rustling a plastic bag, like a chip bag or cereal bag.
They started leaving us gifts where we normally put the food. We've received an empty cigarette box, assorted bottle caps, part of a bungee cord, a lug nut, and a bic lighter. They're quite skittish, but still leave presents from time to time!

You should write a children’s book about your gifts from the Crows.

CROW DADDY : A CHILDREN’S BOOK (about growing plants, caring for animals and our relationships with them and with nature) It would be SO COOL! I’d buy it! Anyone else like the idea?

Love it! My childhood home is on a hill. As a child, I would sit on the edge of the hill, dangle my legs, and watch birds glide. There was one crow that loved to sit beside me and watch!

I have a crow that visits me at work because I started feeding him the veggies I grown n also feed him seeds n nuts (not peanuts). Everyday on lunch time he visits me.
    Crows are very smart birds.
