  • Thank you guys for checking out the video! I really appreciate it. I’m not feeling like I am at a loss on this jet. I do not feel like it is worth the money that it costs new and I do not recommend this product. This is my own opinion. This was still fun though!! Please smash that thumbs up if you haven’t already!

    Win some, lose some! It’s what the hobby is all about. No worries! It was fun while it lasted! Plus, you can always repair it in the future if you’d like and get it back out there! That’s one thing that’s so great about the hobby!
    Thanks for all the support everyone! ✌🏻♥️

      KNOW THIS FEELING, DUDE ! Know this feeling . It’s all good . Wrap this up as another learning experience, move on , BUT DON’T let it come back to haunt you down the line . Figure it out & understand it . Through your own eyes or someone else’s. These damn jets are way too expensive to just crash and walk away . Keep ur jet grove on , see you & Ashley in the next video.

  • @FA-44
    @FA-44 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I did that exact same thing with my eFlite F-16 but at a lower altitude. Right after takeoff, relatively slow right turn, I put in a lot of back pressure which caused the right wing to stall (right wing has a higher angle of attack because it’s on the inside of the turn), jet rolled and yawed to right and then spiraled into the ground. The left-wing is still generating more lift which gets the jet rolling further to the right; and then the right wing, which is deeper in stall, has higher drag that yaws the jet to the right. It appears those two forces together got your jet into a well-developed spin. Your video could easily be used in any aerodynamics course to teach stall / spin characteristics; and that F-100 does have some nasty stall / spin characteristics. You might find interesting this old TH-cam video on F-100 spin and recovery. th-cam.com/video/hldpdFd4Jts/w-d-xo.html.

    Hey man sorry to see that go down like that! I have had my fair share. Lol. I saw the L39 video and it sort of looks like the flex went down in the same area that the L39 did. You may have a dead spot right in that particular area of that field. Looks like it’s a school or something like that and there may be a lot of interference there especially in that area where you make your first right turn. The L39 and the Flex both looked like they spun left and drilled in right as you was finishing the first right turn. I’m only saying this cause we have a spot similar to that at my field and almost every time anyone flies over that way their plane literally does exactly what both of yours did. I lost one myself like that. It totally sucks cause these things are just a lot of money and time and stuff like that and to lose it cause if a dead spot in the sky just blows. Anyhow not telling you that’s exactly what’s going on but from my experience that is what it looks like to the “T”. Just look into it is all I’m saying. I’m subscribed to your channel and love the content. You guys are great! Many more happy flights I hope! Can’t give up just gotta keep on going. That’s exactly what I do it gets better and better. Thanks again! Fred

    I called Flex innovations on this, I own two of their jets, which have flown flawlessly since I've owned them.
    Firstly, you increased the battery weight by 33%, over their recommendations, secondly, you have already crashed it once and rebuilt it. You should have changed out critical servos to accommodate what you are doing,in respect to weight change and style of flying.
    Now you crashed it again and don't suggest anyone buys it....really? You've changed the cg, no range check and hogged it off of the runway. Incomplete review and biased, I suggest no one trust your reviews. I have seen a few of your reviews and feel that you don't carry the seal of credibility
