Eddie could defeat Danielson, only because it was too personal. Danielson lost his gameplan, and started slugging out with Kingston, therefore he lost. But, Okada has no personal feelings towards Eddie. This is truly a dangerous challenger for Eddie title.

Because of how while the Young Bucks have Okada on their side as a friend, even if kayfabe shows he was a very big rival of their friend Omega, then there's PAC siding with Eddie Kingston even if they do not get along, and he is allies with Penta.
