Nice, Switch Sports Soccer ex-aficionado here. That was pretty intense for a pretty relaxing slow paced sport lol. I was high ranking on soccer at one point, can't get back to it cuz of way too much latency on some of the games due to a lack of popularity in the US. Makes me a bit sad but I had a lot of similar experiences like having rivalry with people I keep seeing on ladders. It's so much more fun when you kinda know their capabilities

Hmm honestly you will get more consistent the more you play and the more muscle memory kicks in. But practically speaking, I use the horizontal white line on the power bar to predict how much power my actual swing will be. It's more sensitive the less power you go but 3 dots and over it's pretty accurate

You're probably swinging too hard. Or try bringing the white horizontal line on the power bar all the way to the top then doing a regular swing. Just gotta get the hang of it
That's valid. The way I see it though is if you get a par you made a mistake, barring headwind on 17 or special hole. And birdie birdie is just consistently well. It is nice to be rewarded more for an eagle but I still think the game would be better with normal stroke scoring
do you know what happens when your opponent disconnects? Cause today I got to a tiebreaker and just when my ball passed my opponent’s ball the game disconnected, so I don’t know if my opponent ragequited and that disconnects the game for me or with it was really unlucky timing for my internet which seems to be working fine. I’m really sad it was a S9 player and I’m only A29 so I would get a lot of rank :( 😢

Idk man. Eagle and par i think is better than 2 birdies. Same with birdie and bogey is better than 2 pars. Maybe it shoukdnt be like that. But idk. Def a hole in one should be like a separate tie breaker. The way its set up it is basically 1.Pure score 2.Most eagles (albatross counts as 2 eagles) 3.Most birdies
Sometimes it's better, sometimes getting par means you made a mistake. Really depends on the situation. I think they should should change it to stroke based but the current point system isn't unbearable
All depends on your conditions. Driver and spoon are affected the least. When you use iron your ball goes higher and gets more affected by the wind. If you're doing 3 dots or less on a 7 iron or weaker there will be less affect becuase the ball isn't in the air for very long. Just try to think about the ball height off the ground and time spent in the air

Wind and ball bounce is the hardest part in my opinion, power and swing consistently is pretty easy

That sucks. If you get DCed in a game it will be on your end. Even if everyone else DCs the game will continue on with you as the only player
