I agree, but Micah has been consistent and he has raced much better sprinters than the “cream of the crop” of NCAAs. He finished 5th last year at the stacked US trials ahead of Noah Lyles and Justin Gatlin. He also dominated a very solid pro field at the Golden Games earlier this season. Pro sprinters are on a completely different level and Micah has shown the ability to hang with them on multiple occasions. Yes, anything can happen on race day but barring injury or a major error, Micah has to be seen as the heavy heavy 100m favorite going into NCAA championships.
At a buffet, i personally sneak corn into the buffet so others can enjoy them. I hide 6 boiled corn ears in my jacket pockets. It is a joy for me to see other patrons of the establishment eat my corn thinking they were part of the buffet.
Micah has incredible power and a quick turnover which is how a short sprinter week beat a taller one. Fahnbulleh ran 19.85 and they claimed that the wind was +4.4m/s. +4.4m/s is nonsense!! That guage malfunctioned! When you watch the vid of that race look at the trees and the flags, there are not moving, at all!! And then look at the times of the other athletes, there were all ordinary. So was this +4.4 only blowing in Joseph's lane???

Gold was never going to happen. He’s not likely to podium in any of the sprints and he may not even make the 100m final since he only qualified 11th out of 12 qualifiers in the east regional and finished 4th as his conference champ a few weeks back.
By the look of his legs and the gap between him and the other I can tell he is juicing. I bet if you go back a little its easy to spot the jump in his ability.
