- This year we decided to enter the Walton and Frinton dinghy regatta sailing 3 up in our Wayfarer dinghy. We will cut straight to the chase, we had a fantastic time. Easily the most welcoming and friendly club we have been to in a very long time so join us for day 1 and race 1, as we try and find our way around the Backwaters in Essex.
We make these films just for fun, and we hope that you have enjoyed watching them however we have been asked on a couple of occasions now if we have a Patreon account. We don’t want to do that at this stage as we feel it would turn the channel into a business, and as we said at the beginning, this is all just for fun. However if you would like to support us and feel you could help contribute to the cost of making these films then you can do that via our PayPal account here. A big thank you to everyone that has already done this, its a great help.

Much appreciated!
What an enjoyable video 😀 I've sailed at W&F three times now at their "Swallows and Amazons" event. I find it quite a challenging place to sail but such a welcoming club that I've always had a wonderful times there.
It is a great club isn't it and yes, definitely challenging, although that's also what makes it interesting.
Great race, thanks!
Good to know that you enjoyed it
Way to go Team Foxwell!
Thanks
that was fun, nicely done.
Glad you enjoyed it
How close is too close?
"An inch is a good as a mile"
"Rubbing is racing"
Looks like great fun!
Exactly :-)
Great Video!!
Thanks!
Exciting, immediate footage even if your camera didn't let you get everything you'd hoped! Thinking perhaps being three-up helped on the beats in this wind?
Yes, the extra weight definitely helped, upwind at least.
Great to see Izzy hiking 😂
She doesn't mind hiking as that keeps the boat flat..... its the boat leaning over she doesn't like :-)
Fantastic stuff. The likes I can only dream of in my old Mk2 …… 😂
You can have that much fun in any Wayfarer :-)
One of your best videos!
Thanks Ray, glad you liked it
Great video. Thanks for sharing:) W10454
Thanks for letting us know
Hi, I’m looking for a passionate sailor that could be available to share experience and knowledge of sailing with a beginner as me, I’m Alessio and the owner of a Dufour 2800 moored in Titchmarsh Marina, unfortunately I don’t have members of my family that want to share this passion with me. I’m Italian and new in the shallow waters of east cost, alone is a little bit difficult but I don’t want to give up, that’s way I’m looking for someone that can pass me the experience in solo sailing. Thank you in advance and congratulations for what you are doing. Alessio
Hi Alessio. I'm afraid we live in Kent but if your lucky someone local will read you comment and get in touch. Have fun.
@@SailingwiththeFoxwellFamily oh sorry I thought you was in Walton, don’t mind
I will continue to self learning . 😁
