    Please note‼️ The ticket shown for the JR LINE is NOT for HARUKA ❌️‼️
    IT IS FOR THE RAPID TRAIN.
    Ticket for Haruka will cost around ¥3,000 give or take.
    Sorry for the confusion, I rode the Haruka because I had a JR PASS. 😵‍💫😓
    ⚠️The ¥1,210 shown on the video is for the RAPID train⚠️
    〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️
    Hello guys! I recently went to Japan and I am here to share to you how to purchase a train ticket and how to get to Osaka from Kansai Airport!
    It is actually easier than you think!

    if a person has a JR pass (kansai area pass for example), do you need to reserve a ticket every time you use the JR line for short or long distances (ex. Tennoji -> Nara station or Osaka station -> Himeji station) or can you just insert the pass at the station turnstile and go as you please?

    • @EnjoyingLife.
      @EnjoyingLife.  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello, yes you would need to reserve a seat, you could talk to a JR personnel for assistance, but I think you could also reserve via the machine, though I wasn't able to try it out the last time I was there.
      The trains cars have a label in them indicating if it's a reserved seat car or not :)

      Yes you can use the same train, in my case I rode the Haruka Back to KIX, but I had a little trouble looking for the platform since it was not very clear and I almost missed my Train.
      It seems that train operations start around 5am, but it would be better to check with the station in person once you are in Japan since there may be some changes.

    Can we get the Kansai One Pass + Haruka Express (One-Way) at the JR station altogether? How do you recharge the ICOCA or check the balance? Thank you so much.

    • @EnjoyingLife.
      @EnjoyingLife.  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hello!
      Yes, you can buy it at the JR station. The ticket for the Haruka can be purchased at the kiosk or you could ask the JR staff at the counter while you buy your Kansai One Pass.
      Although, please ask them if the Kansai One Pass can be used for the Haruka, because if so, you could save around ¥2,700 per person 🙃
      My family and I baught our JR Pass when we arrived in Osaka at the JR station shown in the video 😃
      For the ICOCA, you can check your balance at the kiosk shown in the video, there is an option there to check balance, as well as loading your card :)

      Thank you very much, we are foreigners and don't understand any Japanese, so are a bit worried. We are relying on Googl Maps for train. @@EnjoyingLife. Our research shows us the Kansai One Pass is suitable for most trains in the Kansai Area, so we plan on using that.

      If you rewatch the video again at around 4:43 you will see just by the door of (HARUKA) car 6 a glimpse of the baggage rack, it would be better if you're at the front of the line to enter as those racks have limited capacity.
      When we first arrived we used the limited exp. (different from Haruka) and we where also able to bring our big luggage, though it was placed in the aisle close to our seat.
