    An International airport! A Canadian flight had to make an emergency landing so they got the designation then. Great video. Been there 3x and still have lots to see in Ketchikan ❤

    As a former Alaskan (with family still in Anchorage) I so appreciate your perspective! We're actually leaving on the Royal Princess in 12 days on the same itinerary you did because our Mexico/CA Coastal cruises on the Diamond were just canceled two weeks ago. I never really considered doing an Alaskan cruise before since I've lived there off and on since I was 3 but this was the only cruise that left the same weekend as our canceled cruises. So here we are. AND as a forestry/outdoor rec major I am even more excited to visit Ketchikan now. Thank you for your great content!

    KETCHICAN, has always been one of my favorites! Thanks for refreshing all my Memories of the 2 times we have been there! The totems were a big hit for me, so much so i wanted to buy a big one for my front yard! Ended up, with a smaller version that sits on my living souvenir shelf! Lol! We had Rain both times there, but still loved seeing the rain forest, Creek street and the Salmon running! We were there the week of August 21st the last time. Great Vlogs! Vickie from SE Pa

    So much fun! We did the trolley tour, and it brought us to a different totem spot. Ketchikan was fun to walk around, but we too had a shorter day so didn't get to do as much as we wanted. Next time!

    When we did our Disney A;aska cruise in June 2018 Ketchikan was super sunny and no rain. In fact, it was very hot that day and I was sweating...that was not part of my Alaska plan. haha

    • @LeggLife
      @LeggLife  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Haha! That’s the problem with Alaska! You have to plan for cold and windy and rainy, and hot and sunny! You just never know what kind of Alaska you are going to get!

    I've been watching your series on your Alaskan Princess cruise. I actually have my graduation cruise coming up and we decided to do a cruise tour. Thank you for all the information on Alaska. One question I do have though. You said in your very first video on this series that you originally booked an interior room. I've heard the only way to cruise Alaska is a balcony cabin. If you could go back and book your cruise again, would you automatically book a balcony cabin?

  • @WinningThePoohbear

    Question, and I will probably ask this on other vlogs lol.. If you could book only 2 shore excursions in Ketchican, which 2 would you consider must see?
