Here's a tip, there's no flavor in water, so use milk. There's no flavor in oil, so use butter, and always use two eggs. And add in a have of a jar of Nutella to the mix, and you have a brownie from heaven. Trust me, it works.
Not sure how can compare these 2? Of course the high end was better, it had choc chips and fudge added. Should have chosen a more expensive plain brownie.
We struggled to find a similar mix at the Walmart we shopped at. All of the Ghirardelli mixes have add-ins so we tried to get the simplest one. I would like to compare Great Value to a similar Betty Crocker one when we revisit brownies. Hopefully we'll get back there soon!
I just watched Epicurus do taste test on boxed brownie mix and wanted to lookup reviews for the great value mix. While the Ghirardelli took one of the top spotd, the great value brand got good reviews and was the best value, hence the name lol
Now I want brownies. Those both look way good!
Either of them will sate the brownie craving! Just don't cook 2 boxes because you'll eat them all.
