One80 seems like the only dart manufacturer that perfectly tapers barrel to point (and Red dragon with trident points). Flights last longer when you hit them. Plastic tridents are great but metal looks better.
Great review as always. Lovely looking dart. Just a quick one my flights often fall off when playing whats the best solution to this? Do i need better shafts or am i missing something haha. Thanks in advance
Cheers Ben! :) Some shafts are better at others for holding the flight, so you could try some others. Target Pro Grip, Puredarts Vice Grip, Unicorn Gripper 4, Harrows Supergrip. Everyone will have their opinion on whats best. I think the vice grip are good. You call also try putting a little pritt stick on the bottom of your flight then put it in the shaft. Another option is to get a flight punch and put the slot rings through the hole and then on the shaft. Or you can try one of the many moulded flights systems like Cosmo, Click, L-style, X-Flites etc.
love all your reviews , say the one on madhouse custom made which has tempted me on my next pay day.. stumbled upon dart9 look really unique have you tried them, really like the look of the rv ones short but slim barrel
aye will be madhouse custom next then the rv dart9 like the idea of multiple set ups.. will have to cut back slightly on my dart purchases or my wife will be using me as the board... looking forward to your top ten darts 2017, keep up the good work mate
Another cracking review from the worlds best. A lovely looking dart but a little concerned about one of the darts being lighter than the others in this day and age most sets are either bob on or .01 either way. The discrepancy in the darts could put a negative element in to someone's game without them realising it.
Thanks Dave! :) Most manufactures have a tolerance of 0.1 (1 tenth of a gram) and some go further with 0.05 the difference here is less than 0.1 at 0.03 so thats pretty good really. Three hundredths of a gram is minute, even 1 tenth of a gram is just about the weight of 2 stem clips which unless your ultra sensitive and have great perception in you touch most wont even know. I think for people like yourself and top pros the chances of detecting such a small margin is probably higher but having said that once you have been playing with a set for a while they are likely mismatched in weight due to chips and scrapes and build up of dirt etc. I think they weighed MVGs darts on some Dutch video and they were all a different weight by a few tenths. But as you say I think the problem arises if you let it get into your head, its probably best for people not to weigh their match darts if that may happen. :)
Oh okay, lucky they are similar and not identical!!Would'nt whant a dartswar, and companies competing with eachother, which would reduce prices of the endproduct...........hold on wait a minute LOL
Well this is one of the first darts that I just don't like the shape just would not work with my front grip to slim don't really get it but there will be people it will work for...but that's the great thing about what u do most of us would never get to see these thanks for what u do greatly appreciated!!!!!
Thanks Andy its much the same for me the very thin feeling of the taper is a little strange but I got better with them. The thing is years ago I got some darts which I think where the B+W Alaska and they had a similar nose but I got fairly good with those but my throw has changed since then :)
Not sure what my worse was, I did not do so great with the Hornets but I know there has been a few where I just could not get the hang of them. Obviously I am not a fantastic player anyway but I do have spells where I can play very good now and then. The thing with my reviews is I tend to video my first throws with the darts, sometimes I may have a few practice throws first but if the dart is a little quirky or not quite the sort I prefer it can be a bit messy. Which is why I always play with them for a few days after the video and then write my conclusion in the forum review. With these darts I was able to throw them better with a kind of flicky style and had a few decent spells with them but overall I would say not right for me but does not mean they wont suit you :)

Yeah I think they are the only ones that consistently do it throughout their range.
Thanks for putting in the dollar amount that's so appreciated, keep up the good work
No problem, does not mean they will be that price in U.S. shops though, its just the rough conversion rate from the cost here :)
fantastic review as usual mate
Thanks! :)
Nice review mate
Cheers! :)

Thanks Iain! :) I had some D'art9 a few years ago when they first started, not sure I reviewed them though.

LOL best you don't let her see what you have bought, it can get addictive :)
Do a review of the red dragon peter wright rainbow mamba please
Doubt I will be buying any as it would just be the same as the ones I already reviewed but with a different colour so kind of pointless really. :)

Pls can you review the martin adams darts?
I dont have any but will add them to the request list but I think Worldwidedarts will be reviewing them soon as he ordered some.
Looks like a variation on Gary Anderson's latest darts.Nevertheless a great dart i think.
Yeah similar, these may have been out before those though.

Nice board :)
It is indeed :)
Out of all the reviews I've watched I don't think I've seen you throw as poorly as you have with these. I think I would pass on them.

If you can’t hit a triple 20 then it’s a pass
