St Mary's opened the season to a young and tough Notre Dame Prep squad, who led by 14 at half and for the whole game after the first basket of the game from St Mary's. Styles Phipps and Kenny White caught fire late in the 3rd and 4th quarter in attempt to surge a comeback win, but Notre Dame Prep was battle tested. Bryce Quinet led the storm with 33 points while Anthony Batson Jr and Brennan Peterson contributed big time with 18 and 13 points. Styles Phipps finished with 30 points and Kenny White with 23 points.
